Hillary says she wants to topple the 1% and yet her main campaign donors are the 1%: Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase...

Is Hillary Clinton lying or do her donors not mind funding someone who will topple them? Which seems the most plausible answer: a lying politician or suicidally-benign corporations?

Since it was first (1st) celebrated in 1970, this is actually the 46th Earth Day.

After all, 2015 - 1970 = 46 - 1.

Given that the Fast Track limits debate on any legislation pertaining to "business" and given that Sanctions are by definition a restriction of business, could the Fast Track make it easier for Obama to reduce sanctions against Iran as part of a nuclear deal?

ALEC has been around for some time now and we're hearing of similar activities being set up at the local and state levels. Can we make a case that TPP is just an international version of ALEC? -- (Corporate subversion of governmental protections and functions.)

In that case, JaO, maybe it would also be easier to raise corporate taxes.

Let's stop calling reich-wingers "conservatives." The term conservative has a positive ring to many people but the Republican Party no longer advocates for conservative principles in the historic sense. Drop the term "conservative" --- substitute "right-wing" on all occasions except where they, by happenstance, support a position supportive of the common good.

In regards to the story which aired on April 22, 2015 about the Republicans wanting to control health care, specifically birth control for women, I am outraged that congress wants to try to control birth control. First it is a violation of HIPAA which passed in 1996. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. which states that medical information is confidential to patients and is not to be given to a third party, namely employer, so why does the Congress think they can violate medical decisions between people and their doctors ?
