Good morning Dr. Hartmann,

Have you considered the retiring Barbara Boxer (D-CA) for a potential VP running mate for Sen. Bernie Sanders? She has been a Progressive at least as long as Bernie.

The longer I watch your program on FSTV, the more difficult it is to watch or listen to anyother network news program. Even The Stephanie Miller Show has become a problem for me. Keep up the great work of enlightenment.

Cheers,

I'd be happy to be Bernie's VP. I'm old enough, I'm smart enough (and doggone it, people like me!), I'm from a very different part of the country (Colorado), I'm great at coming up with ideas no one else has thought of, and sitting around as Vice President would make me feel more useful than I do now.

I can't wait to explain to all the Walker fans how ridiculous the Laffer curve is. We'll be able to make it a meme.

I've made a serious version before of a way to deal with obstruction in the Senate, but I want to be cynical just this once and rewrite Art. II, Sec. 2 to read:

"The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the shirking of responsibility of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session."

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Thom Hartmann channels the best of the American Founders with voice and pen. His deep attachment to a democratic civil society is just the medicine America needs."
Tom Hayden, author of The Long Sixties and director, Peace and Justice Resource Center.
From Screwed:
"Thom Hartmann’s book explains in simple language and with concrete research the details of the Neo-con’s war against the American middle class. It proves what many have intuited and serves to remind us that without a healthy, employed, and vital middle class, America is no more than the richest Third World country on the planet."
