Your comments on Thomas Jefferson are overlooking some facts. Check out a new book published 10/1/2015 titled American Slave Coast, a history of the slave-breeding industry. Thomas Jefferson was raping his sister-in-law, Sally Hennings, who was his wife's half sister. Also he was trying to expand the slave-breeding industry in his state in competition with South Carolina's slave importing business. Jefferson was no American hero, periiod.
