Rise up Wisconsin and the entire United States. These people elected by we the people are OUR EMPLOYEES not slaves to Corporate America. It's also about Walker and his thugs doing the bidding of the Koch brothers, of course. They have a lot of energy related business in Wisconsin, with at least 17 different facilities and 4,000 miles of pipeline. And whadda ya know! Walker's bill just happens to include that convenient little provision allowing for the sale of any state owned heating, cooling or power plant, without bids, for whatever amount he arbitraily decides is in the state's (read: the Kochs') best interest....
this is the most in sane thing = wake up america and get smart. take a listen america this is what republicans do. look at what Bush did = if we had done that we would have been stung up and let the buzzard eat us. why do they always get a free ride???

Calling for a general strike, NOW! They can only win if we let them. Stop working, and their cash flow stops. The only thing these people wil ever feel is pain in the wallet. They do not feel or care about our pain, but it is time they felt a little. Quit being sheep! Quit expecting someone to come along and do it for us. It is up to us, the hard working, honest people of this country to set things right again. The politicians of this once great country have no interest in changing how things operate in this world. Everyone one of them is being enriched by the status quo. It is time for things to change. End the economic slavery that has taken over our lives.

I have never seen this much arrogance by politicians in my life. I have to believe Koch is offering Walker and his buddies quite a golden parachute and witness protection when they end up out on their butts an soon as they can be recalled. Their last names should all be MUD!
Simply putting it - the old saying: Cheaters never win, winners never cheat.
Wisconsin and the rest of the USA citizens will win this one because of their brave integrity to keep up the fight against this mess that the Republican's, thugs and Koch Bros.$$$$$$ who are trying to bring down anyone but corporations and the super rich in order to leave the rest of the nation to be their slaves.
Why now? Because Kapital no longer has to fear solidarity between American workers and the deformed workers' state, the Soviet Union. Now Kapital can take off the mask, and reveal what they really are, Authoritarian Greed, or simply, Fascists.
Thom, I love you to death! What you are doing is so tough because the stream flow is so, so, hard to swim against. What I think we should all do to direct this energy to laser focus so that some real holes can be burned through this rapacious capitalistic greed we are mired in, is just this: 1) We need to do all we can to recall the Wisconsin Governor and his Republican supporters (I have donated $50) - by doing this we clearly set the example for the 1% that they are NOT protected from the masses, 2) The Single most important action all of us can take is to repeal the Citizens United decision of the Supreme Court. This can be done in the following ways: a) Support MoveToAmmend.org, b) Recall Justice Clarence Thomas for derilection of duty (refusal to participate in opinions) and conflict of interest, c) EDUCATE EVERYONE around you as to what this horrendous court decision has done - to make Corporations the SUPERIORS (because of money) TO INDIVIDUAL HUMAN BEINGS.
My father died in 1997 at the age of 76. He worked, side-by-side with the 20s generation at Microsoft and loved every minute of it. He was, in a word, an intellectual powerhouse and an peerless environmental progressive before the world even coined those terms. He would not have survived the toxic, selfish, Machevelian ellitists that persist in todays media and corporate world. His name was Hans Joseph Sonntag. We need to call on our local union organizers for a national strike. After that day, locally each town throughout the USA can choose a day in week to boycott one bank. In that same week we could bring our musical instrument and celebrate and network in a parking lot in a local shopping mall/center. Another week, another bank /mall until the fat cats know the game is over.
