Nothing will stop republicans from there charge except us. Unless we go after them like the tea baggers did to us two years ago.

I just watched a Wisconsin Town Hall Meting on you tube and the republican had to stop the meeting. They walked out on the people. The room was full the hallway was full. I live in Vancouver, Wa., and the tea baggers out shouted a meeting with Brian Baird a Democrat and that is what we have to do with all republicans town hall metings. Go to the meetings and be heard.

Kids could be dying in the streets and they will walk around them. Kids could be hungry and they will look the other way and call them lazy and they deserve it.

Republicans are, to put it simply, Machevellian opportunists! They won't stop until they start seeing their peers voted out or recalled.

What children? What poverty? There are charities and churches galore where you can get whatever you feel you are entitled to... dammit

Ok...Wisconsin is going to do a recall of Republicans...why can't the citizens in other states initiate the same process to get rid of the sitting Republicans whom are all going to try to oppress the working folks in each of their states? In Minnesota we have Democratic Governor Mark Dayton.I don't want to see my hard-working Gov. Dayton have to waste valuable time & resources to struggle with these rich criminals that are once again trying to steal tax money from me & my fellow working class Minnesotans. I WANT my tax money to go for the services that will go for helping those less fortunater & those in need at this critical time. I DON'T WANT my tax money to go for the deficit that was created by the foppishly arrogant TIM PAWLENTY giving the wealthiest Minnesotans a big EFFING tax break...

GOP RECALL REQUESTED IN MINNESOTA- GOP RECALL REQUESTED IN MINNESOTA

NO HARM IN MINNESOTA NO HARM IN MINNESOTA NO HARM IN ANY OTHER STATE NO HARM IN ANY OTHER STATE

Re: willeke's 'what children/what poverty?' ...

Obviously you've never worked in social services. Do some volunteer work; then ask that question. I can't imagine that scene getting worse than it's been ... but, here we go. And Thom, I agree, it's long past "Time" to call the 'Recession' a Depression.

Janette B: I cannot believe you took me seriously. I was being facetious and trying to imitate a republican. I even added a winky smily, just in case, but Thom did not let me have it, ggrrrr. Blame Thom! (joking again and adding another winky)

"O LORD, Won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz.".

\If GOD had wanted our tax dollars to help little children HE would have said so!\ (backslash indicates sarcasm).

It is time for middle America to stand up for itself. Call for a general strike, it will hit them where it hurts. In the pocket book.

STRIKE, NOW. They can only win if we let them. It is time to fight back. They have declared war, and we are just now beginning to notice, after 30 years.

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"In an age rife with media-inspired confusion and political cowardice, we yearn for a decent, caring, deeply human soul whose grasp of the problems confronting us provides a light by which we can make our way through the quagmire of lies, distortions, pandering, and hollow self-puffery that strips the American Dream of its promise. How lucky we are, then, to have access to the wit, wisdom, and willingness of Thom Hartmann, who shares with us here that very light, grown out of his own life experience."
Mike Farrell, actor, political activist, and author of Just Call Me Mike and Of Mule and Man
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Never one to shy away from the truth, Thom Hartmann’s collected works are inspiring, wise, and compelling. His work lights the way to a better America."
Van Jones, cofounder of RebuildTheDream.com and author of The Green Collar Economy
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"With the ever-growing influence of corporate CEOs and their right-wing allies in all aspects of American life, Hartmann’s work is more relevant than ever. Throughout his career, Hartmann has spoken compellingly about the value of people-centered democracy and the challenges that millions of ordinary Americans face today as a result of a dogma dedicated to putting profit above all else. This collection is a rousing call for Americans to work together and put people first again."
