It may be a big wish but as great as this country has been at taking care of its citizens, at least up until Reagan, this should be something people in this country deserve and will vote to get.
Reaganomics deregulation trickle down -Bush Cheney Rice Rumsfeld & Goldman trained Fed boys policies-courts- wars- cuts- hidden debt- changed our entire country for the worse . Ike Nixon Kennedy all had faults Nothing like these bold ' criminals ' Nixons 'sins' killed No one- wiped out no savings- caused No crash. Bush Cheney admin ( Greenspan ) all in a class by themselves . I fear GOP/ cons / baggers will rewrite history to pretty up the Bush Cheney oil dyansty / legacy of lies, fear tactics, preemptive war & greed. I am a recovered Reagan Bush 1 voter Then voted for Perot, Clinton, Gore, Hillary then Obama . and yes Gore actully won How the Bush 2000 Fla travesty altered the course of US history !
I hear Texas is next OOPS! bad joke. It will become popular on the coasts, then migrate slowly through the rustbelt to Wisconsin and Minnesota (in the future). It will become popular elsewhere, only in other states ,if they have to pay for the uninsured without help from the Feds. States like Mississippi will only care when the "income redistribution" stops going to them.
"Hartmann speaks with the straight talking clarity and brilliance of a modern day Tom Paine as he exposes the intentional and systematic destruction of America’s middle class by an alliance of political con artists and outlines a program to restore it. This is Hartmann at his best. Essential reading for those interested in restoring the institution that made America the envy of the world."
—David C. Korten, author of The Great Turning and When Corporations Rule the World
From Cracking the Code:
"In Cracking the Code, Thom Hartmann, America’s most popular, informed, and articulate progressive talk show host and political analyst, tells us what makes humans vulnerable to unscrupulous propagandists and what we can do about it. It is essential reading for all Americans who are fed up with right-wing extremists manipulating our minds and politics to promote agendas contrary to our core values and interests."
—David C. Korten, author of The Great Turning: From Empire to Earth Community and When Corporations Rule the World and board chair of YES! magazine
From Cracking the Code:
"Thom Hartmann ought to be bronzed. His new book sets off from the same high plane as the last and offers explicit tools and how-to advice that will allow you to see, hear, and feel propaganda when it's directed at you and use the same techniques to refute it. His book would make a deaf-mute a better communicator. I want him on my reading table every day, and if you try one of his books, so will you."

I wish that they had something like this in California. I would consider moving there.
