We need to make these News medias accountable and while I'm on the subject of being accountable , I'm sorry but this president is a mess, from secret prisons, wire tapping and selling out to the big corporations, he is not a friend of me. It brings to mind a statement made to me from one of my older clients, after receiving a bill from a plumber, " I've been took".
And now I know why this president loves president Regan, which I have to admit fooled me too! I vote for him the first time also.Yes I was a Regan democrat, but only on the first vote. I will not vote for the lesser evil every again.
We have big banks and credit card companies fooling us into believing that we are the middle class because we can buy $35,000 cars and $300,00 homes on a $40,000 pay checks. We are not blameless in this show, but it is time to wake up. My husband had a union job which allowed him to retire when his boss, a wonderful man, went under. We are one of the lucky few, we sold in a great real estate market and paid cash for a small home. but we went from $3500 a month to $1800 a month and have to use our credit cards more than is comfortable for me, which has made us much more aware of this country's government and the people who represent us.
GOP has fought & hated unions, fair pay, worked to lower our wages, middle class , sent good jobs overseas with big Bush cuts, protected corp - giant loopholes & OIL subisdes, waged 2 long failed wars . Iraq based on lies, brought us to 2008 global crash -Paulson's 700 billion TARP Gift horse to Robber Barons, chose con judges that screw us. GOP / Baggers has duped us into believing Obama did all this since Jan 2009 How dumb & gullible are voters to be so easily manipulated ? Recall Waterloo ? GOP vowed from day 1 to make Obama fail and deny him a 2nd term Thats what they are doing as we speak. I will not fall for GOP scams lies greed ever again !

It's time to get the machettes out from under the beds. When Washington no longer heeds the will of the people, then the people must rise up.
The 6:30pm news on ABC, CBS and NBC are, as Tom Wolfe said, "just a doily for the mind." It seems that the content of the news is decided in the boardrooms of holding companies.
Now that a corporation is considered to be a "person" (according to the Supreme Court), they should also be prosecuted for crimes such as murder. Of course, since capital punishment in this country is legal, the corporation should be sentenced to death. Once that occurs, the corporation would be dismantled and never again allowed to incorporate. All we have to do is prove that the whistle blower who recently died, was murdered by a representative of or someone hired by the corporation.
With that said (partially in jest ), many corporations have become too big to be able to effectively manage. As with the phone companies of the past and the media conglomerates and banks of today have proven, the losers in the end are "we the people". They must be broken up.
