Dammit-the US simply can't keep their nose out of a good scrap, nor can Isreal.I want Iran to have the bomb so their neighbours will leave them alone. Can you blame Iran for wanting the bomb-after seeing what happened to Iraq?If the Gaza strip had an aircraft carrier task force, I'm sure Israel would be so much more polite.A balance of power in the middle east would be a good thing.Hey-this communist doesn't care if the christians, jews and muslims kill each other and leave the world for us commies.

I seriously doubt any of the current candidates are going to win the Presidency and they are just beating their chests and trying to stir up Americans. Same old BS from the GOP. Fear tactics and "they're out to get you." I'm really beginning to wonder if anyone is after us or it's us that is after them. After all, we have to support our military industrial complex. Why else have a 100 years of almost continual war? It's all political.

The Arab Spring was begun in hopes of solidifying the control of the Middle East/North Africa because of the oil, oil, oil. The Western natiions are realizing that oil and gas is a finite natural resource; so the oil companies are fracking, taking drops out of the sands, taking natural resources through the use of eminent domain from private property, and going ahead with the XL pipeline from Canada south to the Gulf of Mexico. The pipeline through Afghanistan has been blocked, Pakistan has a new friend in China. The Navy has moved into the Gulf of Hormus, for no other reason than to be in place for a war with Iran to take possession of OIL.

The POTUS is impotent when it comes to the greed of the oil corporations and the private companies that unashameably make fortunes with war. As David Rockerfeller said, "The time to make money, is when the streets are running with blood".

From Cracking the Code:
"No one communicates more thoughtfully or effectively on the radio airwaves than Thom Hartmann. He gets inside the arguments and helps people to think them through—to understand how to respond when they’re talking about public issues with coworkers, neighbors, and friends. This book explores some of the key perspectives behind his approach, teaching us not just how to find the facts, but to talk about what they mean in a way that people will hear."

"Thom Hartmann ought to be bronzed. His new book sets off from the same high plane as the last and offers explicit tools and how-to advice that will allow you to see, hear, and feel propaganda when it's directed at you and use the same techniques to refute it. His book would make a deaf-mute a better communicator. I want him on my reading table every day, and if you try one of his books, so will you."
