Thom Is right about GOP of old days . Eisenhower even Nixon cared about America. Who cares about bugging of Watergate when Bush Cheney lied- caused death & maiming..made more enemies while wasting trillions ? Reaganomics Bush & Bush GOP wealth favoring policies-corp cuts- wars , deregulation put us on path to disaster / global crash / worst economy in 80 yrs . Santorum GOP wins big in Miss & Ala Poorest least educated states in the US who receive most taxpayer dollars. Louisina will go GOP big time too. Ignorance of facts is not bliss. Its dangerous to our welfare . Forget ID what about a very basic IQ test to vote ? . Kidding of course
I'm sorry that Afganistan is stuck somewhere between the dark and middle ages- not America's problem. We should have never given them weapons, should have never forgotten them after we gave them weapons...time to correct or own mistakes and GET OUT. Not one more American should have to die on Afgan soil. We need to bring our troops home and give them the care and attention they deserve and need. This is up to the people of Afganistan, if they don't want the Taliban, they are certainly capable of fighting them. Bring our military home!
I would have thought they learned something after Vietnam. Greed makes people in high places, with too much power;do very bad things.
We should have learned from history and never gone in there in the first place!
