I voted yes, though I fear that may be wishful thinking. If we don't vote these freshman tea partiers and their ideology out of office, we can say good-bye to a bunch of other important social programs, not just education. It's time to start looking after the common people and stop supporting the interests of the super rich 1%.
Defunding education is yet another blow to the middle-class. In fact information, knowledge and education are the basic bottom rung of the ladder that which the middle-class is built upon. It only serves the super wealthy 1% to keep the rest of society dumbed down. How else are they supposed to get people to vote against their own interests?
There is a real difference between actual freedom and the idea of freedom that someone else is selling in order to suit their own agenda.
