Yes. Voters have not demanded to see Trump's tax returns. Voters are disengaged. Too many accept what FOX and false news tell them. They are too busy to look at the details & protest. Congress and the Senate work for what their rich donors demand. "Ivanka's tax cut" will pass.

And Big Oil will drill on 400,000 acres in Arctic National Wildlife Refuge's coastal plain where 35,000 walruses haul out because of lack of ice, porcupine caribou herd calves here, and the world's migratory birds nest and raise their young plus any polar bear who wanders into oilfield will be shot. Great going Repubs!!!!

Well, you can see what the problem is, just reading the comments here. If the founders had been this demoralized, we wouldn't have a country. I hope to up my support of young people (I'm 70) and get behind those who are pissed enough to get onto the streets. We are too comfortable.

Thom's Blog Is On the Move

Hello All

Thom's blog in this space and moving to a new home.

Please follow us across to hartmannreport.com - this will be the only place going forward to read Thom's blog posts and articles.

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Thom Hartmann is a literary descendent of Ben Franklin and Tom Paine. His unflinching observations and deep passion inspire us to explore contemporary culture, politics, and economics; challenge us to face the facts of the societies we are creating; and empower us to demand a better world for our children and grandchildren."
John Perkins, author of the New York Times bestselling book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man
From Screwed:
"I think many of us recognize that for all but the wealthiest, life in America is getting increasingly hard. Screwed explores why, showing how this is no accidental process, but rather the product of conscious political choices, choices we can change with enough courage and commitment. Like all of Thom’s great work, it helps show us the way forward."
Paul Loeb, author of Soul of a Citizen and The Impossible Will Take a Little While
From Unequal Protection, 2nd Edition:
"Beneath the success and rise of American enterprise is an untold history that is antithetical to every value Americans hold dear. This is a seminal work, a godsend really, a clear message to every citizen about the need to reform our country, laws, and companies."
Paul Hawken, coauthor of Natural Capitalism and author of The Ecology of Commerce
