Criminal Charges for BP et al

Today I heard Thom asking why no CEO involved in the Gulf Oil Spill was being arrested...my thoughts were that if the SCOTUS can allow "personhood" to corporations in order to fund campaign ads, etc., then the SCOTUS should grant "personhood" to BP, et at and send them to jail...I'm just sayin' - if they want personhood then this is what you get!

Maybe naming the late '70's early '80's the "Me Generation" was a bit misplaced. That time-line would include the boomers born immediately after WWII who were deep into their jobs and professions. The name signifies that the world revolved around them. As we grey, it seems as if many of my generation are referring to a mind-set that wants some of what we created for our kids to flow our way for a change. In other words, we want some of what we gave away.

People that have no shame will say anything because we keep letting them get away with it. Too many to repeat, but when I find someone who doesn't believe someone could have said such a thing (and not have been ridiculed, impeached, etc.) - I take it to mean I need to put a reminder out.

Bombs Away for the oil spill

5/29 I read a couple of articles online about using nukes or regular bombs to hit the oil pipe and crush it. Apparently the Russians used this method (with nukes) successfully 4 out of 5 times - no mention of radioactivity problems, but this was done with deep-water wells. Anyone got a link to more info? Someone in the US government commented that it might work, with regular bombs, not nukes. Interesting, and scary.
I've thought from the beginning that a bomb or bombs would work - but except for these couple of articles online, I've heard nothing, on tv or anywhere.
