"Renaissance Thinking About the Issues of Our Day"
I'm still looking for land for an experimental progressive community that I want to establish. I've heard Thom say at least a couple of times on the radio that good and cheap land is out there and that he used to own a whole lot of it in Vermont. Well that must have been years ago because I've found that that ain't the case these days. I've found none in the
May I say it this way- the Kochs are pretty big, but Kaiser and Krupp were bigger, and all are pyramided via the railroad underground pool, as tracked by the Allen County Estate of Minnie V. Kryder and the Allen County Charitable Trust of Frank Freimann, Magnavox pioneer and president.
Recall that Koch Fuels incorporated in Indiana the same day that Frank Freimann executed the Codicil to his Will for the Trust which was never probated, just as Minnie V. Kryder's Trust was never probated.
I gave in to curiosity. Keep in mind, outsourcing call centers and manufacturing to China, India, etc. is one thing that boils my blood more than anything. Can I bring a different point of view on the subject? Please hear me out.
It is an age old plan. But it has worked for years. Make sure all we talk about are divisive issues that divide us according to our culture or religious beliefs or skin color or ethnicity. This is done to keep us from focusing on what is happening in this country. THE ONLY ISSUE worth discussing is that we are being taken over by multinational corporations that wish to convert this country into little more than an outsourcing service center, serviced alone by fast-food chains, stores like Wal-mart and ignorant, cheap labor.
James Baldwin was ahead of this time. In this rare video, James talks about transcending race. White is an attitude, Black an attitude. Not a color or a race.
Back in the mid-90's I watched this Film called "The Art of Deception in Primate World." , and in it it showed the dominant males of this group of chimps would bark out a false call of an invading predator. The smaller weaker subordinate chimps would drop their food and hide. That's when the dominant males would come and pick up the food they dropped.
I hope this gets to you while you have Sen Sanders on this AM. What's the status of the Stabenow bill S.3706? The 99rs want to know and I haven't heard a thing on the news or on talk radio about this bill.
thanks, Ric Huston, Eugene, Oregon
I recently discovered this wonderful quote in Fawn Brodie's "An intimate portrait of Thomas Jefferson" and it is so very vital to the progressive movement today in light of the conservative right possitioning themselves to try and take back the government. The following quote is a letter from Jon Taylor (speaker of the house of Delegates for Virginia) to Thomas Jefferson dates May 6, 1782 regarding Jefferson's recent reluctance to accept his election to the Virginia legislature:
I used the word predecessor when discussing Reagan - meant to say 'successor'..
