Once again the government is spending billions - of our hard earned tax dollars - in order to help the profits of the Automotive Industrial Corporate Complex and the energy barons. They are providing hard cash for an idea that still has several major issues to work out. I don't mind folks chasing the american dream to invent but this isn't invention. This is out right robbery - OR CORPORATE WELFARE - when our government takes from us - We The Taxpayers - our money - lots of it - and gives it to a GIGANTIC CORPORATION to do their product development.
I'm still wondering what the logic was or is of taking Thoms show off of regular radio. While I am fully able to access the show from my computer and cable TV etc. I spend a lot of my time driving or away from home. The net result is that I may not hear Thoms program for weeks at a time. I've gotta believe that there has been a dramatic loss of listenership since this change has been made, never mind the fact that the schedule change now competes directly with Randi Rhodes. Can someone please explain this to me...what's up folks??
Gov. Jeb thinks that avoidance of, or escape from, danger somehow defies common sense (?), and I fear the social irresponsibility (vigilantism) and domestic disassembly (libertarian-ism) of such "hawkish" (cowboy-ish?) sentiments is representative of a small but very powerful political ('neo-conservative') bloc.
