This has been a terrible day for me - Catholicism is being destroyed by a Catholic convert and I am not an American citizen. This has been one ugly BOHICA day for me.

BOHICA? I know what it means. Try waking up surrounded by concrete, in a land that everyone wants to kill you, yet everyone around you is supporting you. I finished my 2nd tour in Iraq over 2 1/2 years ago, then retired. The only thing that has really changed is that there is less concrete.
At least 3 major religions have an edict to put me to death for how I was born. I cannot support any of them, yet I'm strong enough to let people believe what they what they feel is right. I used to say that I will live to suffer another day. Now, I stand for the good that I am. There are no more BOHICA days for me.

I haven't been able to listen regularly for over a week. What is with the trolls calling in to explain to Thom that Obama is not a legal citizen? Earlier one was just figuratively jumping up & down on the couch - "he is not, he is not!" And I thought, these wackos believed the insanity that the Clintons had the power to kill Vince Foster and convince the authorities and the most gullible that it was suicide BUT they were NOT clever enough to expose Obama as an ineligible, non-citizen candidate?
Nor was McCain or the entire Rethuglican party.
Then the call in the last half hour from Cathy insisting that Hillary was in on the whole "Obama non-citizen" conspiracy. When you are telling the truth you do not need to make up new stories. You just restate your facts. When you are trying to get folks to believe a made-up conspiracy, you have to keep coming up with more and more "pieces" to support the theory. That's why your mom & dad told you it is easier to just tell the truth.
Oh yeah, and regards Cathy, you can't talk to a psycho like a normal human being.

@Missy3910, thank you for the information! I do not know your age but I am 71 years old. It is very difficult to live 71 years under the illusion that I am an American citizen. I find this new information on me very troubling. Yes Missy, your experience in the military was more difficult than mine.

Since it is the father who determines a child’s citizenship and my father was not born in the United States, I am not an American citizen. I am a man without a country.
