How Scott Walker Gave $124 MILLION to His Friends

Brendan Fischer, The Center for Media & Democracy/ALEC Exposed joins Thom. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is trying to beef up his image as a governor who can get things done. But that image is now under fire after a report has implicated his administration in what could become a massive scandal. It all has to do with something called the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation - or WEDC - which was created by the Walker administration as a way a way to help boost the state's economy. The WEDC gives out contracts to companies that bring jobs to Wisconsin - but according to a new internal analysis of its practices - the WEDC awarded almost $124 million in contracts without even bothering to review them to see if they would pan out as planned. And if that wasn't bad enough - many of these contracts were apparently given to some of Scott Walker's most well-known donors - raising questions about just what the WEDC was designed to do.
