House Republicans, lead by Rep. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., introduced a legislative rider to the Interior spending bill last week that would block the Obama administration from imposing a long-term ban on new uranium mining across 1 million acres of public lands surrounding Grand Canyon National Park.
