Oklahoma is NOT OK with ALEC.
There were more protestors in the street than there were ALEC members at their spring meeting.

Eleven years ago I read the book "Darwin's Black Box" by Michael Behe, a well known promoter of intelligent design (ID). Behe uses the concept of "irreducible complexity" for systems like cell organelles or the immune system to extend the age-old "a watch implies a watchmaker" argument of William Paley in the early 1800's. Stephen Meyer's book "Darwin's Doubt" recycles that same ID approach, the false dichotomy (the word 'defective' yielded a more alliterative title).
