I'd like to think that Trump will somehow surprise us all and become a caring benevolent right wing ruler, but so far there's no evidence of any chance of that, so far it's looking quite the opposite. He's stocked his 'administration' with hard right extremists , prinkled with some very unstable to crazy people like Micheal Flynn as National Security Advisor.
OK, This is total speculation.
But why now? Why did Trump suddenly announce that he would not peruse prosecuting Hillary? This after pledging over and over again that he would put Hillary in jail, to the thunderous roars of his rabid supporters, throughout his campaign. Why didn't he wait until sometime after he was sworn in?
I get to have a three-fer in this blog posting. A confession of sorts, a howl and protest, and a warning of what's to come. Might as well start with the confession and get it over. In my younger, far more naive and dumber years, I became an er, ummm, ahhhh ... crap, I can't quite get it out. Hey, here's an idea, I'll grab some "negative soap" to wash it out then I can type the rest.

Attention: Thom HARTMANN, and America:
President Obama should formally PARDON Hillary Clinton even though President-elect Adolf Benito Trump and some of his top aides have recently assured America that Trump does not intend to have Hillary indicted and jailed for her email and Clinton Foundation sins.
Okay, here’s my holiday rant (grab your scotch or drumstick or whatever).
I have zero patience with those who are saying we should "attempt to engage in conversation" with Trump and his neo-fascist supporters who are now in the process of taking power here.
"Three years later, the New York Times made him the subject of a gushing profile that sexed up the 30-year-old developer—"he looks ever so much like Robert Redford"—and parroted his claim that he was worth "more than $200 million."
The following is a link to an astute article by Robert Reich, which states several good ideas, that all Progressives should “now” heed, with regard to the critical “StumpTrump” campaign, that must now ensue, in this country.
