Remembering 9/11 & the Bush administration's incompetence

The nation remembers 9/11 today, and is reminded about the utter failures of the Bush administration leading up to the attacks. As a new op-ed published last night in the New York Times uncovers, the Bush administration was repeatedly warned in the months leading up to the attack that terrorists were operating in America and determined to carry out an attack. But rather than doing anything about it – the Bush Administration dismissed the warnings as mere distractions pushed by Saddam Hussein, even though there was absolutely no proof of any coordination between Bin Laden and Hussein.
The incompetence – and downright negligence – of the Bush administration is staggering – and Americans paid dearly for it. It’s now been 11 years since the attacks – and since then we’ve seen 11 years of continuing war, 11 years of continuing surveillance, and 11 years of continuing disintegration of our civil liberties.
Today we honor the victims who lost their lives on that day, but as a nation we must also recognize the profound impact the decisions our leaders made in the months and years after 9/11 that have made our country less safe, destabilized the planet, and shredded our constitution. Let’s hope that future memorials to this day aren’t clouded by war, anger, and xenophobia.

9/11 taught me that the kind of evil cloaked in religious fundamentalism is identical to the evil cloaked as flag waving preemptive war....mostly innocent people die because a few evil men get the rest of us to buy into a lie motivated by their lust for money, power, and fame...you know who I'm talking about. It's the same old thing all throughout history, you can call it the work of the devil or whatever....I call it ......an insane lack of self control.

Elioflight: Yes, I agree...it's really odd that the Bush Administration was all..."wanted dead or alive!" but then after pretty much letting OBL go when they had him cornered...they changed their tune and stopped the hunt for OBL...in about 2005. Did the Bush administration and many others believe that OBL was already dead from any one of various reported conditions..Hepititus C, untreated lung condition, dialysis complications ? Most of OBL's confirmed communications stopped after 2001. He had a lot of doubles, true, so it may be hard to tell who is who.

If OBL was already dead, then what excuse would they have had to continue being in the Middle East. What excuse do we really have now for remaining in the Middle East? The legend lives on... Or, if he was still alive, maybe OBL wasn't the real reason we were over there to begin with...and maybe even, OBL, still working for the CIA, had done the neocon's dirty deed by sending 20 patsies over to take the heat for 911.
Even though Matt Bissonette's group went in and, after killing him (OBL?), claimed they took DNA samples and photos...but all of that blood had to be wiped off first..there really is no conclusive proof that they shot OBL.
There is the video that hasn't been released..that Obama, Clinton, etal watched with grimacing faces as shown in the photo of them watching the video. And who was that strange big man with a yellow? tie in the background? The cryptome.org site comments on ..who was that masked man? (not really "masked" except in identity, maybe)
What better way to cover up a fake OBL's real identity than to shoot him in the face, then the abdomen, and use the excuse that the face was covered with blood. How can anyone positively prove to the rest of us that he was really OBL? There's DNA, but DNA could have been taken anytime during OBL's dialysis treatments. Now, if they would have, at least cut off his finger, or other appendage, and put it on display for anyone to observe...like Dillinger's whachamacallit pickled in a jar at the Smithsonian!!! By obscuring his visual identity by shooting him in the face, and then dumping his body into the ocean, there is just no way to prove that it was really OBL.
Again, we are just supposed to "trust them".

Ken Ware, You either work for the organization that stole our democracy or your really naive. The very first information I remember being independently reported on days after the attack was about Minoru Yamasaki and associate engineers Roth and Sons. They won a contract based on their ability to engineer the first airplane proof towers supposedly capable of catching up to 8 airliners like a net and still absorbing the crash without coming down. You may recall from watching a you tube interview of some of the engineeers who worked on the towers as young men were in utter disbelief the buildings failed. So if we failed mentioning engineers it's because it was old news. Even with the addditional 30 floors being added to the towers in order to satisfy The Port Authority the buildings were intended to be designed to withstand the same or worse impact the Empire State buiding withstood in 1945. A fully fueled BOMBER slammed into the Empire State building as a result of dense fog. It struck the building roughly near 1/3rd from the top of the building spewing approximately the same amout of kerosene (same as the TT) started a fire that ran down the elevators in similar fashion. Port authority was insistent that the new design be stronger than the Empire State Building. It's in the documentation and a brilliant engineer such as yourself would not have overlooked that. Who is the one who believes conspiracies Mr. Ware ? Most of us believe Bush and Cheney were just mere puppets taking orders. Neither one of those goof balls had the smarts or the balls to pull that off. No it was much much bigger and much more powerful than yes men put into office to do some one elses bidding. We also have the testimony of ACE MARINE FIGHTER PILOTS who have sworn the manuevers by rank ameteurs who failed their flight training miserably in Piper cubs could have never ever accomplished the task of highjacking the airliners and flying them with expertise greater than accomplished fighter pilots. Kenny baby you've just entered LA LA land and it doesn't look like you"ll ever find your way out. I wouldn't hire you to design anything for me. I simply do not have confidence in your comprehension skills. And just for the record...those of us who grew up on farms understand too well that kerosene is an inefficient tinder to burn crop stubble.

And part of the proof is in the videos of the WTC towers burning. Black smoke! Black smoke is an indicator of a very oxygen starved fire which means a not-so-hot fire. The video even shows some woman standing right in the opening where the airliner crashed. If the fires were so hot to be able to melt or even weaken steel then that woman would not have been able to stand there...she would have been ashes.
If people would only watch just the 1 hour video: 911 Explosive Evidence - Experts Speak Out video on Youtube, I think they might change their minds about accepting the official conspiracy theory of 911.

If you had told me one week ago that I would be endorsing a 911 Truth video I would not have believed you. I happened upon a PBS documentary online while researching 911 with my 11 year old. I saw that the documentary was for 911 Architects and Engineers and along with the PBS connection watched. I have no interest in conspiracy theories..
I believe now that there needs to be an investigation re-opened regarding the events of 911. I always felt a pang watching the buildings come down both live on the day and in all of the images after. Something nagged. Honestly I did not know or see that Building 7 had also collapsed in the same manner late that same day.
It is impossible that these buildings collapsed in the manner that they did for the reasons and conclusions made in the official 911 reports. There is no conspiracy theory, however there is no acceptable reason why we cannot critically examine and question the 911 investigations and reports that fall so far short. This event remains the single most important in recent American History and we deserve a full and impartial scientific investigation into the details of this event.

As your show ended yesterday someone spoke to you about all the weird "coincidences" -- just too strange. I hope you have one of your researches look at the Corbett info and consider more follow-up. I know we have to focus on the elections, but we cannot afford to let this slide.
