Why the Arabs Don't Want Us in Syria

Robert Kennedy Jr., Hudson Riverkeeper/Waterkeeper Alliance joins Thom. On Saturday - a new ceasefire is set to go into effect in Syria. This could mark the beginning of the end of that country's brutal civil war - but could it also mark the beginning of the end of America's disastrous adventures in the Middle East?

The Caucus Room Conspiracy Part 2 - SCOTUS

Vince Coglianese, The Daily Caller & Brendan Fischer, Center for Media and Democracy/ALEC Exposed & Sarah Westwood, Washington Examiner all join Thom. From one example of out-of-control right-wing obstructionism to another... Senate Republicans unanimously agreed at a closed-door meeting of the Judiciary Committee today not to hold any hearings for President Obama's pick replace late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. They want to wait until the next president takes office 11 months from now to consider a nominee. This - of course - flies in the face of the will of the American people - who elected Barack Obama to a full four-year term - and the teachings of Saint Ronnie of the Church of Republicanism - who thought it was totally acceptable to appoint a supreme court justice in his final year in office.

Why Is the GOP So Worked Up About Gitmo?

Vince Coglianese, The Daily Caller & Brendan Fischer, Center for Media and Democracy/ALEC Exposed & Sarah Westwood, Washington Examiner all join Thom. Do they have that little faith in the American prison system - a prison system that already houses hundreds of the world’s most dangerous terrorists - that they think it can’t handle a few dozen more? Or - considering the fact that most Guantanamo detainees probably didn’t do anything wrong and were just in the wrong place at the wrong time when they were captured - is this just an election year ploy to rile up a base that is now almost as Islamophobic as it is racist?

Wow…Watch Spike Lee Feel The Bern...

David Shuster, Al Jazeera America, joins Thom. With the Nevada caucuses in the rearview mirror - the race between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton is heating up in South Carolina. Hillary Clinton was recently endorsed by Morgan Freeman - and the actor's famous voice is featured in this TV ad supporting the former secretary of state. And Bernie Sanders was endorsed by Spike Lee - who is featured in this ad from the Bernie campaign.

The Death Knell For Establishment Politics

On the one hand - Hillary's sounding more and more like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren every day. On the other hand - the Republicans are all starting to sound like Trump. And it's all a sign that Americans are sick and tired of the political establishment.

Alex Lawson, Social Security Works & Karl Frisch, Syndicated Columnist/Political Strategist join Thom. Whenever the mainstream corporate media talks about Bernie Sanders' policy proposals - they dismiss ideas like "free college" and "Medicare for All" as "free stuff" that lazy young people think they want - until they have to pay for it. Charlie Cray, Greenpeace USA, joins Thom. As the Democratic race for president has narrowed - so too have the differences between the two remaining candidates. So why is Hillary Clinton still accepting donations from the fossil fuel industry?

How Does Bernie Still Win?

Alex Lawson, Social Security Works & Karl Frisch, Syndicated Columnist/Political Strategist all join Thom. Can the Bernie campaign continue to build huge amounts of grassroots support and turn out new energy from young and first-time voters to propel him to the nomination?
