Charles Sauer, The Market Institute & Sam Sacks, The District Sentinel & Hughey P. Newsome, The Objective Citizen/Move-On-Up all join Thom. There may have been a record turnout in New Hampshire last night - but according to ThinkProgress - poll workers in some towns illegally turned people away from voting. Because of a new voter ID law in New Hampshire - voters need to either present a photo ID - or sign an affidavit and have their picture taken before casting their vote. But according to organizers working for NextGen - poll workers in Plymouth New Hampshire were telling college students that they couldn't vote without an in-state driver's license - and they wouldn't offer the affadavit unless the students specifically requested it. Isn't this proof how even loose voter ID laws can be abused to suppress the vote?
