The most appalling thing about the Haggards, and really anyone who thinks that homosexuality is a condition that needs to be treated, is that they have the arrogance to presume that we as people can change other people. While behavior can certainly be modified, it is impossible to change the way someone really feels, I think Mrs. Haggard should be aware of that more than anyone else.
I also suspect that the Bible that people like the Haggard's read and teach from must look like a redacted CIA document, where only the parts that serve their dubious purpose/bank account are left !!!

“War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses.
I believe in adequate defense at the coastline and nothing else. If a nation comes over here to fight, then we'll fight. The trouble with America is that when the dollar only earns 6 percent over here, then it gets restless and goes overseas to get 100 percent. It may seem odd for me, a military man to adopt such a comparison. Truthfulness compels me to. I spent thirty- three years and four months in active military service as a member of this country's most agile military force, the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major-General. And during that period, I spent most of my time being a high class muscle- man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism.
I suspected I was just part of a racket at the time. Now I am sure of it. Like all the members of the military profession, I never had a thought of my own until I left the service. My mental faculties remained in suspended animation while I obeyed the orders of higher-ups. This is typical with everyone in the military service.
I helped make Mexico, especially Tampico, safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefits of Wall Street. The record of racketeering is long. I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown Brothers in 1909-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for American sugar interests in 1916. In China I helped to see to it that Standard Oil went its way unmolested.
During those years, I had, as the boys in the back room would say, a swell racket. Looking back on it, I feel that I could have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.”

Here are some thoughts for the day
Progressives need to counter GOP every day---
1. Sarah in Rogueland having TEA with the MAD ROUGERS. Try it out.
2. Working Progressive Americans or WPA'ers. Quite historical also.
We need a counter to the TEA party rougers.
3. TEA party roguers acting as to throw overboard anything they don't like, while the rest of the world passes America up!
4. It appears the GOP and some Dems have NO FAITH in America's Civil court system to prosecute "really" bad persons! What's up with this NO FAITHers?
I had a chance to review the video discs by Lindsey Williams. Here are some of the highlights from his discs.
There is a group of people who do control our world. The American dollar will collapse. Inflation will increase in two years. Gold and silver are the only money that matters. War is planned after two years. The name of the game is control, manipulation, and power. Not everything is about money!
The elite are not divine. The elite are laughing at stupid Americans. The elite are the devil’s messiahs. The elite are trying to remove our God to control Americans. The original purpose of education was to teach us how to read so we can read the Bible. Today, the purpose of education is to be patriotic Americans in order to pay our taxes.
Where do we want our rewards? Do we want our rewards to come from God or from the American government?
The elite want to set up a New World Order. We will all work for the American government. America is in trouble. We will be poor by inflation, deflation, and slavery.
The American taxpayer gave the elite $2.5 trillion and in return the elite gave us a $9 trillion deficit. A JOB means Just Over Broke! The collapse of the American dollar and inflation will be gradual. ALL ORIGINAL WEALTH COMES FROM THE GROUND!!! Gold and silver come from the ground. Money for the elite is gold and silver. Paper money means nothing to the elite. The elite’s plans are by intentional design.
In the U.S. Constitution there are not the words, separation of church and state. The current standard of currency for the world is crude oil and the American dollar. The American dollar is being phased out as a viable currency. The world is dumping the American dollar. Our politicians have betrayed us. The Bush family is an oil family and they are part of the elite.
The American dollar is worthless and it will collapse the world economy. In two years America will be bankrupt, inflation will rise, salaries are slashed, and soup lines will be here but will the soup lines have any soup. Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God! – Thomas Jefferson!
There will be war throughout through out the world in two years. Everyone will be working for the American government. Gasoline will be $10 per gallon. We have no job in America. The elite have moved all of our jobs out of our country. 501C3 binds the pastors from speaking out against our country’s policies and practices. Churches, today, do not have pastors with courage. Only Divine Intervention can save America!
The elite do have ethics and they must reveal to us what they intend to do. This revelation is subtle. The elite do not have salvation. They have a god and their god is of this world and his name is Lucifer. The mouthpiece for the elite is the national media.
The elite want only nine mega-banks. The elite are vicious people. Watch for the bank takeovers! Watch for the number of bankruptcies! Do we have access to our safety deposit boxes? Watch the movies Hollywood produces! Do these movies glorify violence and war? Watch the pace of inflation! At the end we will see a limit on how much money we can take out of the bank.
Here are the control measures to enslave Americans banking or the control of our pocketbooks, health care, the Patriot Act, Youth Corp or the SS Brownshirts, mandatory service in society for adults, gun control, travel restrictions, and media restrictions.
The elite do not act the part of criminals. The elite leave the impression of being responsible and respected people.
WE HAVE TWO CHOICES – ACCEPTANCE OF GOD OR NOT TO ACCEPT GOD!!!

Did anyone notice that Wall St may be listening to Thom and Ravi? All the tech stocks are having super earning reports and yet the Dow is dropping 200+ points today. The main negative report is the jobs report.

when I was in high school, we did a survey for civics class. we paraphrased the Declaration of Independence. briefly, like this "Governments are nothing sacred, they are formed by men. And their power comes from the people. If any branch of the government is not serving the people, then we have the right to change or abolish that Government and start a new Government."
my assignment was to stand in a local car wash and hand out questionairesand ask a simple question: do you agree or disagree with this concept? this was during the vietnam war and period of civil unrest. most of the people were not even aware these concepts were from our own declaration of independence. a solid majority disagreed. many were angered and refused to even participate in our survey. I still remember one man smiling at me and asking "what are you, some kind of radical?" his answer was "yes, I agree." He gave me his address and asked for our final results.
we need more informed people like him. we need to inform the people who are not informed that the government belongs to us. we need to take back the power that is slipping away to the corporations and give it back to the people, the rightful owners.
The tea baggers are to blind with anger to hear anything but what fox and idiots say.
I have been trying to convince the tea baggers that the REAL enemy are the big corporations who own and run the government for their own profit. They insist on blaming big government when they were no where to be seen when Bushoccio was spending us into oblivion.
Anyway, we are in a serious and deadly CLASS WAR. The sooner we can bring everyone into the fold to unite to do something about it the better.
