I think this man has nailed shut his own coffin and his political career is over. He is just not bright enough to figure it out yet.

There was a huge sign displayed in the Wisconsin State House by a group of protesters. It read

TAX THE RICH

I think the people are getting it, despite the corporate media silence on the issue.

As Roy Zimmerman says, all of these rich corporate jerks and the pathetic, sell-out jerks they pay to put in office are on the end of the ship that's rising while the other end goes down. Destroy the middle class and the upper class won't be far behind.

I believe that the right thing is for it NOT to work. But I fear that he has the forces of what i think of as "evil" on his side, the moneyed and powerful who have the agenda that no one is talking about - their own profit margins for their businesses and avoidance of taxes.. I wonder who has his ear, who is goading him on in the face of what seems like national disdain for his actions, and hs stubborn refusal to admit that he wants to triumph no matter what.

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Thom Hartmann is a literary descendent of Ben Franklin and Tom Paine. His unflinching observations and deep passion inspire us to explore contemporary culture, politics, and economics; challenge us to face the facts of the societies we are creating; and empower us to demand a better world for our children and grandchildren."
John Perkins, author of the New York Times bestselling book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Through compelling personal stories, Hartmann presents a dramatic and deeply disturbing picture of humans as a profoundly troubled species. Hope lies in his inspiring vision of our enormous unrealized potential and his description of the path to its realization."
David Korten, author of Agenda for a New Economy, The Great Turning, and When Corporations Rule the World
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Thom Hartmann seeks out interesting subjects from such disparate outposts of curiosity that you have to wonder whether or not he uncovered them or they selected him."
