With there being no evidence that God exists, what evidence do "we" have that "we" should be trusting it? None! No more evidence than the faith-based liberals have for trusting the corporate party Democrats they keep voting for.
"Trust No Electable" would be an honest motto for the dishonest Corporate States of America.
SO then Why do Repubs KEEP voting GOP year after year from 1980 - 2008 Bush global crash /edge of depression / Paulson 700 billlion TARP scam on taxpayers ..except for one Dem Pres Bill Clinton.. Reaganomics- total amnesty for cheap illegal labor with wide open borders- Bush 1-2 Cheney GOP wealth favoring policies, lied into Iraq war Huge Gift to AL Quada, con judges who screwed us - huge unpaid for corp tax cuts and loopholes- umfunded debt- lives & trillions down the toilet .. killing maiming 1000's + 100 K Iraqi's ! Bush GOP congress for 6 years Gave him ALL he asked for NO hell No's from 2000-2006 when Dems won congress Bush said he would veto or filibuster any Dem bill They STill are GOP must break Obama even IF its breaks US economy To GOP its worth it
If only the republican reps. could forget about the Kochs, Norquist, and trickle down, for one moment....and focus on reality, they might come to realize the magnitude of pain and suffering they have caused this great country. If there is any doubt, look at their legislative voting records and contrast it to the Democrats, I'm serious! I agree the entire system is dysfunctional with big money, however the Democrats in large part are not the enemy of the 99%....the republicans assuredly are!
I can speak as one of those who were under informed. I never watched news, didn't pay attention to what was going on. I was too busy with my life. I only recently woke up to the facts of what that ignorance caused this country. I have to thank God that I stumbled on Free Speech TV and the Thom Hartmann show. It wasn't that I was totally unaware. I had a feeling since the late 70's that something was wrong and noticed little things over the years that I only thought of now and then. I am now a Democratic committeeman and am fully involved. I just hope and pray that the majority of Americans wake up more quickly then I did. With all the Occupy movements around this country and the world I believe that there is hope for us yet.
As for the Repubs forgetting about the Kochs and realizing we are hurting out here, listen to Thom when he describes a sociopath. They only believe they have feelings and no one else. They don't care, or at least the real radical ones don't. I have actually heard a few more progressive Republicans who sounded more democrat then some democrats do.
The bill was introduced back in January and has been hanging around for over nine months waiting for the strings-pullers to decide when the time was right for another bit of ridiculousness to distract from other things.
Try to train yourselves to shield your eyes from the bright, flashy things so you can see what's trying to slink around in the shadows under the cover of it.
"No one communicates more thoughtfully or effectively on the radio airwaves than Thom Hartmann. He gets inside the arguments and helps people to think them through—to understand how to respond when they’re talking about public issues with coworkers, neighbors, and friends. This book explores some of the key perspectives behind his approach, teaching us not just how to find the facts, but to talk about what they mean in a way that people will hear."
—Paul Loeb, author of Soul of a Citizen
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Through compelling personal stories, Hartmann presents a dramatic and deeply disturbing picture of humans as a profoundly troubled species. Hope lies in his inspiring vision of our enormous unrealized potential and his description of the path to its realization."
—David Korten, author of Agenda for a New Economy, The Great Turning, and When Corporations Rule the World
From Unequal Protection, 2nd Edition:
"If you wonder why and when giant corporations got the power to reign supreme over us, here’s the story."
—Jim Hightower, national radio commentator and author of Swim Against the Current
If modern day Republicans were not downright evil I would laugh at them....but it gets really old finding humor in the actions of sociopaths

They've been bamboozled that someday they, too, can be part of the 1%. Plus, The Repugs keep playing the fear card.
fact- the government doesn't create any jobs! they take money from one person and give it to another and call it making jobs.
Just more theatre...
