While only the third largest Bernie Sanders event - which says a lot about how succesful the Sanders campaign has been - the rally was the largest democratic primary rally in Massachusetts since 1968. It was also twice as large as the 10,000 person rally then Senator Barack Obama held on the Boston Common in 2007.
