You need to know this - Ever since George W. Bush admitted to authorizing the use of waterboarding – or torture - in his new book, “Decision Points” – there has been growing pressure on the Obama Administration to launch an investigation. Both Amnesty International and the ACLU have called for criminal prosecution of the former President. And now Congressman Jerry Nadler from New York is joining the cause claiming that, “a failure to order a criminal investigation would be a serious dereliction of duty.” Republicans also agree. GOP Congressman Jason Chaffetz from Utah said he would, “have no hesitation” in investigating the former President. So – Attorney General Holder – what are you waiting for?

But waterboarding isn't torture, every republican knows that. And to prove it, perhaps every republican should be waterboarded. Then renditioned to Syria.

Jim Hightower, national radio commentator and author of Swim Against the Current
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Through compelling personal stories, Hartmann presents a dramatic and deeply disturbing picture of humans as a profoundly troubled species. Hope lies in his inspiring vision of our enormous unrealized potential and his description of the path to its realization."
David Korten, author of Agenda for a New Economy, The Great Turning, and When Corporations Rule the World
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Right through the worst of the Bush years and into the present, Thom Hartmann has been one of the very few voices constantly willing to tell the truth. Rank him up there with Jon Stewart, Bill Moyers, and Paul Krugman for having the sheer persistent courage of his convictions."
