But there is some good news out of Seattle - Washington - where Kshama Sawant - a socialist city councilwoman - was re-elected to a second term. Sawant - who helped pass Seattle's living wage bill during her first term in office - called her victory a win for working people and a sign that "socialist politics are here to stay" So - what does that mean for the rest of the country? We now have a socialist - or at least a democratic socialist - running for president - could Sawant's victory be a sign that socialism is about to make a comeback in America?
