The caller LIED to you, THOM!
The XM radio channel 167 "America Left" DOES NOT play your show live! They play "The Ed Schultz Show" during that time (12 - 3 p.m. EST). Your show is played on delay from 3 - 6 p.m. EST. I know because I sometimes listen to your show on XM during my drive home from work. Right now, I'm listening to you live via the KTLK web site.
So when you asked the caller if he was listening to you live and he replied that he was listening to you on XM, he LIED!
To the caller (Mike the moron) who wants to live in a million dollar house without working or doing anything to earn it. May I suggest you contact someone like Paris Hilton and ask how she does it. I'm sure the eliminating of the "Death Tax" and minimal Capital Gains taxes will have something to do with it... oh and also having an obscenely wealthy family couldn't hurt. (There's your infamous welfare queen, idgit)

Honestly, I'd like to have enough money to not "have" to work either. But if I didn't have to work, I'd be able to volunteer. Because what is the use in being shiftless? Why do conservatives love the shiftless wealthy?

JUST before I walked into the room to discover I'd forgotten to shut off the TV before that JERK say: "Germany, now THERE's a Country that has it all together. He then went into all the good economic numbers coming out of Germany. I could only think-My GOD, the Jerk has woken up!!I "thought* too soon.He followed it by going into a rant about how they did it ALL through "cutting spending, getting rid of needless entitlement programs and Unions"HOW the HELL can this JERK get away with saying that on National TV??!!! I *thought* that was Murdoch's lawsuit that said it was FINE to "Lie" on "Entertainment networks"--WTF does "Morning Joe" promote itself as?? NEWS or entertainment??!!nevermind...I know the answer to that....

Rightwing callers are really nuts. They don't want to pay for "educating other people's kids"? They don't want to pay one cent for anything (although they want every benefit this country offers). How exactly are poor people supposed to pay for education for their kids? Same with health care. If you can't afford it, you don't deserve to have it. That is a terrible attitude. So un-American and so cruel.
(And I wish Thom had asked that last caller how much he was willing to pay someone to cut his grass. His attitude was that they should accept any amount, no matter how small, and he was outraged that they didn't. The same attitude conservatives have toward working people.)

A Reoccurring Nightmare
When the brown shirted Bush was in the White House, I experienced a nightmare. Even though he has been removed from the White House, this nightmare has reoccurred from time to time. Here is my reoccurring nightmare.
Her name was B.J.
My dreams are more like nightmares that I cannot shake. Here is one of my nightmares.
Her actual name was Barbara Jenna Doe. B.J. was an all American young lady – attractive, intelligent, a vibrant personality who made people feel good. She was planning to go to Yale in the fall. B.J. did very well on her SAT and ACT tests. Her summer was planned in preparation to attend Yale in September.
The military draft was reinstated and so the sons and daughters of the poor and the middle class were drafted. B.J. received her letter to report to boot Camp in mid-August. In December B.J. came home for Christmas. Her parents were excited to see her. Daddy had a gleam in his eye every time B.J. was home. Barbara Jenna looked sharp and impressive in her formal military uniform. Her parents were proud of her.
After Christmas B.J. returned to camp and in mid-January B.J. and her company received orders that they were going to attack Iran as part of Bush’s Christmas wish list through more lies. In mid-February her parents received the dreaded letter saying that Barbara Jenna Doe was killed in action. The letter did not reveal how she was killed but friends were able to find out that BJ’s truck hit a land mine. The truck exploded and her one leg went through the window of a nearby building; her one arm slammed against a wall of a building; her torso remained with the truck; and her head went through the windshield of the truck and rolled down the street and stopped at a curb. What a waste of human potential to be killed for the Bush lies.
B.J. was not like one of Bush Sr.’s fourteen grandchildren who have never served in the military services. She was drafted and she had to serve in the military armed services.

It is my understanding that Harry Truman helped to write a great constitution for Germany. Maybe we should adopt Germany's constitution or incorporate the salient areas to improve our constitution.

@Gene, yes, slavery does come in many forms. I see that the conservatives want to enslave ninety percent of Americans.
@Jeanie, I do not know if Thom's blog attracts conservative readers. I have tried to have conservatives respond with creative thinking for a better world but they prefer to be more critical with an absence of creativity.
@Jeanie, I have listened to many of Thom's conservative guests. They seem unable or unwilling to offer constructive ideas for a better America.
