Unions taking aim at Dems may be counterproductive, but unions (or any other conscientious constituency) supporting Dems no matter what is positively disempowering. Illustrates the need for a labor party, as is found in some form in pretty much the rest of the free world.
I drive a 2006 Prius. I paid $24,000 for a well equipped year end model. For me it wasn't cheap (but then again I am not a Walmart shopper, it's not always about price) but affordable.
@rladlof, you don't have to get all shook up about it, that one doesn't really matter either way, I just tend to recommend a No vote to any prop you don't have a good reason to vote yes for.
I'm no economist but isn't "economy of scale" the way to make products cheaper? I couldn't afford a computer in college in the 80s (of course that was before the easy credit dam burst) but now they're pretty cheap. We subsidize the cost of cheap gas already, why not subsidize cheap electric cars? Look at the issues it touches: climate change, employment, trade imbalance , tech and I'm sure there are others.
Prop 14 was a deal struck between Democrats and Maldanondo to get his single Republican vote to balance our budget a year ago. How pathetic. But yes Sir, we will vote no.
yes Radlof, heard this yesterday afternoon. Tesla was having problems getting funding for quite some time. Lets see if we can have the big 4 now, an improvement on the big 3.
Let me pimp the Rude Pundit again . . . http://rudepundit.blogspot.com/.

Simply said, all Californians, vote yes only for Prop 15, all others are a NO!
