Er, well yeah, they've "tuned in", but not "turned on"...
re: braking: ive noticed its almost always elderly people who hit the accelerator instead of thebrake. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we elderly people learned to drive w/standard transmission, therefore 3 pedals. I learned to use the right foot for both brake and accelerator, and use the left foot for the clutch only. I wonder if most elderly, like me, learned that way. and now automatically use the right foot in an emergency, sometimes hitting the accelerator rather than the brake. Younger p eople, who learned on automatic transmission, naturally use the left foot for the brake. Maybe I ought to send this in to NTSC.

I am very excited that I got through on your show yesterday (3-29-10). I was the person who called and commented about the Obama/Duncan education "reform" plan. Is there a way I can get a copy of that clip, or something from Youtube? Someone on DU posted a thread on it, and some wished they could have seen it. Can you help?

@KMH, I don't even think I can from behind my firewall. Those type of sites are blocked (heck I have a hard time getting simple images to download from different sites)

@Mark K -Buchannan often gets a pass for his overt racism because he does lean towards progressive economics, and he publicly voiced opposition for GWB's Iraq war policies. If you ever watch The McLaughlin Group on Sunday mornings, it is absolutely AMAZING how often Buchannan seems to be "the voice of reason".
Tip when signing up for Facebook - dont use your real name. I am stuck with using mine because I lack the time to sign up a second time. Once they have your IP- you cant fool them with an alias.
