The Repugs will do anything to make the President look bad, including making highways so unsafe that they will kill people. They don't care about the middle class or poor. They only care about getting our money and property. It's amazing how low these people have gotten. I'm reading 'Last Call: The rise and fall of Prohibition' by Daniel Okrent. Republicans during Prohibition were exactly as they are now. Evil racists and money-grubbing theives.
Stantak, do you actually believe that conservatives want people to die on unsafe highways (that they drive on), that they don't care about the poor (whom conservatives disproportionally donate more of their income to charities that help the poor than do Liberals) and middle class (whom they make up a large percentage of). You think Conservatives want to take more of your money and your property (when they fight for people to keep more of their money and have greater private property rights). You actually believe conservatives are EVIL people filled with raging racism? Or might we conclude that you don't have effective arguments to convey, so you must resort to baseless hate mongering and demonization of your opponents? Maybe in the hate bubble that you live in, this nonsense will go unquestioned and likely supported, but in the real world you are just another intollerant race baiter with no content. Also, you are wrong about the president, conservatives want America's economy to grow strongly. Obama makes himself look bad (specifically on issues of economics), conservatives simply point it out. By the way, I voted for this terrible president who has ruined the economy (not single handedly, and not even from liberals alone). Unlike our ineffective leader, at least I can admit when I made a huge mistake.
As for the ridiculous question above, the answer is the 3rd option: The $800,000,000,000 stimulus package was for the same thing, and that didn't build many roads, stimulate the economy, or save or create productive jobs, so why would we burden future generations with billions or trillions more with the poorly acted sequel 'Stimulus 2, Keynsian Strikes Back'. Conservatives want an efficient government that works, and this isn't that.
Anyone else care to comment? Anyone else think that conservatives are trying to kill people they hate and that there is rampant racism? Anyone care to explain why they feel hate for poor people or racism is an inherent problem on the Right?
YES Con GOP' leadership' will do anything to win . And I mean anything . Voter supression The GOP -and their hacks have sent letters giving the wrong date & place to vote. They want to Gut EPA FDA Wants corps to be able to dump more toxic chemicals into our water . Thats a fact GOP does not simply point things out Since 2007 Palen Bachman GOP Beck Hannity Rove Dick Armey, Cheney , Rush & 800 con talk radio shows and giant GOP mouthpiece Fox have demonized , lied,smears and vowed to BREAK OBAMA . since day one Can we get real for a change ? Racism ? yes There is loads of that too. Yes Stimulous DID create jobs But Fox GOP just lied so often folks now but it as fact Obama DID save GM Chrysler - 1 mil jobs there, DID make more stem cells available, got Bin laden another Bushs failed mission among many. Passed Wall St - health reforms Good start in right direction Obama did take on all Bush Cheneys failures, lies, debt, greed, deregulation policies that favor wealth and hurt average worker. Now we need to end all wars and rebuild the USA

Not sure I am quoting this properly BUT when Albert Einstein said, " When you try the same thing over & over agin expecting a different result that is what is called insanity... The Tea Party along with the Tan man & his right wing henchman Eric won't pass ANYTHING Obama suggest now just as they have not passed anything since he became President....
It is sad to say but we made a mistake in electing him thinking it was a great thing for the nation to have an African American as President... Well the first part is true but sadly the bigets & rasists in our Country & in Congress at the end of the day have won again. Not one man who has ever held the office has faced what Obama has faced... Sadly we would have been better off as a Nation with Hillary rather then Obama.
Obama has given them everything they wanted PLUS he is the biggest fund raiser the right wing has ever had. Because of him the States have passed anti voting laws, anti union laws & the right wing has taken over State after State since his election.
The mistake we made was voting for the crazy Republicans into Congress, not electing Obama.
Not sure if what they feel about us is hate or just indifference. Like we are an insignificant nuisance that they have to deal with when they want to get elected and then they promptly forget we exist, or would like to. There are, however a few Republicans who are actually pretty decent and side with the Democrats. At the same time we have Conservative Dems who side with the Republicans. Hard to get it right at election time. The really hard part though is getting the information out to the majority of people who vote who listen mainly to Fox News and their ilk.
