Images of Thom
Mueller's favorite place to pray (written about in "Prophet's Way"), and the roof of the room where the Last Supper is reputed to have happened.
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Right through the worst of the Bush years and into the present, Thom Hartmann has been one of the very few voices constantly willing to tell the truth. Rank him up there with Jon Stewart, Bill Moyers, and Paul Krugman for having the sheer persistent courage of his convictions."
—Bill McKibben, author of Eaarth
From Unequal Protection, 2nd Edition:
"If you wonder why and when giant corporations got the power to reign supreme over us, here’s the story."
—Jim Hightower, national radio commentator and author of Swim Against the Current
From Screwed:
"Hartmann speaks with the straight talking clarity and brilliance of a modern day Tom Paine as he exposes the intentional and systematic destruction of America’s middle class by an alliance of political con artists and outlines a program to restore it. This is Hartmann at his best. Essential reading for those interested in restoring the institution that made America the envy of the world."
—David C. Korten, author of The Great Turning and When Corporations Rule the World

Is it too late to charge him in court martial proceedings?
Mr. West should realize that his time is done, his job performance with substandard, caring for the transnational corporations and towards fascism instead of America’s working families and the common good
they didn't do it for Al Gore,so let him take it to the supreme crt.maybe they'll just declare him the winner because to do otherwise would do him "irrepairable harm"!!go home mr. West you brought it on yourself!
The Democratic party should take the high road and give him the recount he wants. Then, when he loses, really rub his face in it.
What does the state law say? Do that.
If the state law is OK with it, then I think he should be give the opportunity to do a recount in his district. But he should have to pay the cost of the recount.
Here is a pdf of Florida law concerning recounts https://doe.dos.state.fl.us/rules/adopted-rules/pdf/1s2031.pdf
"(c) All recounts are to be ordered by the respective county canvassing board or canvassing commission
responsible for certifying the results of the race or races being recounted. "
It is up to Florida county canvassing boards. I doubt all of them are going to want to take on the added work and cost for this. West should man up and admit defeat.
He lost. He ran in a new district because he thought he would lose in his old district. Now, he's lost in the new district. He should just man up and admit the loss. You'd think a former military man would realize the correct mode of behavior.
I voted yes, but I'm actually of two minds on the subject. I would be all for a total recount if it was done only manually of the paper ballots cast and not by these machines which have proven they cannot add correctly. Since his Party is the one who was all for these machines that don't work most of the time, he should shut up and bow out gracefully. He might just get what he's asking for and in so doing reveal how corrupt the Republican Party has become.
