Saving "The Company Town" From the Koch Bros...

For the first part of the 20th century - many residents of central Appalachia lived in "company towns" where coal companies ruled - and state and federal governments simply turned a blind eye. The residents worked for the coal mines - lived in company houses - and were paid in company scrip that was useless outside the town. Amazingly - in the 21st century - there are still towns where a single company employs most of the town and poisons everyone in the surrounding area. For more on the story of Crossett Arkansas - and one man's nearly four year fight to save the town from Koch Industries - I'm joined by Natalie Kottke-Masocco - Co-director of the new film "Company Town" which is premiering tonight at the Los Angeles Film Festival.

The Sanders Campaign Explained...

Professor Seth Abramson, Huffington Post/University of New Hampshire talks to Thom. There is only one more Democratic primary after the polls close in California tonight - but as far as the media is concerned - the race is already over and Hillary Clinton is the democratic nominee. But the truth is - it's incredibly unlikely that Hillary Clinton will actually clinch the nomination with pledged delegates at the end of tonight - which leaves a big question about what Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders will do at the end of the night - especially if he manages to win big in California. So why has the media been calling Hillary Clinton an "historic" Democratic candidate when she hasn’t officially won the Democratic nomination? And what are the next steps for Bernie Sanders and the progressive wing of the Democratic Party as the Democratic primary draws to a close?

Politics Panel - Why Does The GOP Support Racist Trump?

Hughey Newsome, BOLD.global/Move-On-Up & Bridget Todd, Political Strategist & Bryan Pruitt, RedState, all join Thom. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan says that Donald Trump's attacks on a judge's Mexican heritage were "textbook racism." So why is he still supporting him for president?

Politics Panel - Was It Right for the AP To Call Hillary the Winner?

Hughey Newsome, BOLD.global/Move-On-Up & Bridget Todd, Political Strategist & Bryan Pruitt, RedState, all join Thom. The Associated Press has called the presidential race for Hillary Clinton much earlier than expected because of a new super delegate count. But is that really the journalistically appropriate thing to do considering the fact that superdelegates don't cast their votes until July at the Democratic Convention?

Full Show 6/7/16: AP Unexpectedly Calls Race for Hillary

Tonight’s Politics Panel discusses the Associated Press calling the race for Hillary by including superdelegates, what Bernie will do following tonight’s primaries and caucuses, and the growing list of members of Congress who say they won’t support Trump. Why Should Bernie Drop Out Before the Convention? Progressive Roundtable

Joe Madison, The Joe Madison Show/SiriusXM Urban View & Ben Wikler, MoveOn joins Thom. So with only 694 pledged delegates up for grabs tomorrow it's very - very unlikely that Hillary Clinton will be able to win the nearly 600 pledged delegates she'll need to reach 2383 pledged delegates and clinch the nomination before superdelegates actually cast their votes at the Democratic National Convention. If Hillary can't clinch a nomination with pledged delegates - is there any reason why Bernie Sanders should drop out before the convention? And why are the media so willing to go along with the misleading narrative that she won already - instead of talking about the progressivism that has rallied million behind Senator Sanders?

Why Does the Media Sanitize “The Greatest” Progressive Roundtable

Joe Madison, The Joe Madison Show/SiriusXM Urban View & Ben Wikler, MoveOn joins Thom. With a record of 56 wins out of 61 fights - "The Greatest of All Time" passed away on Friday. But will he be remembered more for his fights for titles in the ring - or his fights for justice around the world?

Trump’s Racial Theory Revealed

Katrina Vanden Heuvel, The Nation Magazine joins Thom. Donald Trump says he can't trust a Muslim judge to treat him fairly. Is this kind of racial and religious tribalism threatening to undo the very fabric of our democracy?

Full Show 6/3/16: California Poll: Bernie 44%, Hillary 43%

Tonight’s Rumble discusses Trump’s “thin skin,” Paul Ryan’s “endorsement” of Trump, and how the media continues to ignore climate change. Great Minds P1 - Wenonah Hauter - Why Frackopoly?

Wenonah Hauter, Food and Water Watch/Frackopoly: The Battle for the Future of Energy and the Environment joins Thom. President Obama has done more to fight global warming than any other president in history. So why does he still support fracking? Fracking supporters - like President Obama - say it's a bridge fuel to a clean energy future. But is that really the case? And is the natural gas boom actually just making it harder to us to make the transition to renewables?
