Please take the time to understand the Project for a New American Century! The goal of this project and Leo Strauss' disciples is to exterminate 6.3 billion human beings on a planet that has 6.8 billion people because planet, Earth, can only sustain 500 million people.
Theoretically the human race will top out at about 9 billion on 2050, and then begin to decline. Our planet is estimated to be able to support up to 12 billion people. However, I don't know how many corporations our planet can survive.
When I was working on my MS, my advisor told of the development of digital computers. He said, "if we got the correct answer two out of three tries, we considered it a success."
Net Neutrality, we're arguing Net Neutrality, when we should be screaming for better public control/service in regards to Television and Radio. That's one of the most aggravating issues I have with the left, we wait until we're about to loose something then we very often do too little too late. We should be making such a push to take back what they (corporate America) has already taken from us, they wouldn't have the guts or time to worry about taking more from us because they would be too busy holding on to what they stole. But we don't bother, we often just take it at face value, ending up bad mouthing Fox and CNN, and wondering why MSNBC isn't as left as it makes itself out to be.
@Jeanie, the United States has been a culture of violence for most of her history. Bluff or no bluff? Who knows? I believe that we need less heated rhetoric in our language toward Iran. Heated rhetoric can open up a mob mentality.
Gerald, that woman’s article was all about the plans we have to attack Iran (similar to the plans we have to attack Canada, just in case), and how it would never work. She ends with, “So there is a plan for an attack on Iran, but [Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff and the highest-ranking American officer] would probably rather resign than put it into action. It is all bluff.”

I believe that my calling is to provide operant conditioning to as many persons as possible. I believe that I have been called to condition minds to the fact that the United States of Hell is NOT a good, holy, and saintly nation. - Gerald
From the Robert Gibbs clarification above, "Some [Americans] are frustrated that the change we want hasn't come fast enough for many Americans."
This is supposed to suffice for saying that nothing will satisfy us on the left, even electing Dennis K?? I am glad, though, that someone kicked his butt and made him issue his half-hearted apology.
I doubt the Democratic party is going to collapse unless we put even more restrictions on abortion than there already are. (Thom said that in relation to citizenship.) Young people usually can't get them unless their parents allow them; poor people can't because they can't afford them; depending on where you live you can't get one because there's no abortion provider (no abortion provider in something like 85% of counties); you can't have an abortion in most places unless it's in the first 3 months, some after that with lots of restrictions, etc. I think there's quite enough restrictions on abortion currently. And yet desperate females will jump over the many hurdles when they can (and have illegal abortions when they can't) because they know that a forced pregnancy is not what is in their best interest. And anti-abortion stances are almost entirely pushed by rightwing religious people, which makes me even less likely to support their position.
Anchor Babies. If you make kids born here to illegals, non citiziens, it will lead to problems like they have in Turkey and France, where there are generations of people that are not citizens. they have NO stake in the well being of the country. I say, keep them them citizens, but don't grant the parents the right to be here. They still have to go home and the kids can come back when they are 18. Something like that.

An excellent show regarding the founding of our government as a secular government, where each is free to worship what ever God they choose, or none at all.
Is Islam a, or the, “religion of peace”?http://www.robertmprice.mindvendor.com/zblog/2010/08/zombie-apocalypse/An interesting article. As noted; if only 10% are "fundamentalist" that still makes one hundred million Muslims who detest our permissive way of life, our lack of an orthodoxy, our equal esteem for women along with men.
Do not criticize someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Because then you will be a mile away, and you'll have their shoes.

On the corporations, don't worry, we will have one immense corp in every niche to supply all our needs! (snark!)
Re: The difference between Republicans & Democrats.
I think Mr. Robert Gibbs comments illustrate that the "Democrats" are no longer the friend of the Liberal.

The internet must be free. It is our last hope for free speech and an informed America.
Attack on Iran is coming.

John Shadegg is a Republican from Arizona. No surprise.

Inartful? That'a an understatement!
