No, you're a die-hard patriot who refuses to accept the truth that our government is totally corrupted.
Just watch the film Architects and Engineers for 9-11 Truth. That will explain very clearly with good visuals why it was impossible for the towers to have fallen as they did unless there were explosives planted in each floor to remove any resistance to their free fall.
I learned that democracy in America is truly a sham, and that the evil empire, the nation that is the greatest threat to the safety of the world and to the preservation of civilization is America.
It would be pretty hard to read what Minoru Yamasaki said about 911 as he died in 1986. Of course he may have made statements about the WTC buildings before he died in 1986 but others who participated in the design and building of the WTC buildings were saying that the towers were designed to withstand multiple airline crashes. And as I thought I got across when I showed what Roberson said before 911 and then after 911...some people can be compromised by the powers in the government and in the private sector...like, do you still want contracts?
And the fires caused by the jet fuel and the office fires would not have been hot enough to melt the steel beams....off by about 1000 degrees. And the story that beams would have not had to melt before a structural collapse but just lose a certain percentage of strength still needed much more temperature than from the jet fuel or the office fire. There was, however, visual video evidence that molten steel was poring out of the side of the building (not molten aluminum because molten aluminum does not give off yellow-white colors...molten aluminum looks more like mercury a dullish silvery color.) I have melted aluminum ingots and I have melted bronze ingots. The bronze melts at a much higher temperature than aluminum and steel even higher...although I have never melted steel except in welding...gas and arc.
There was also pools of molten steel in the basements of the buildings. And why was so much dust created, beams and body parts hurled hundreds of feet onto other buildings. Why did they ship those beams out to China so hastily when it would have been cheaper to process them locally.
So if engineers and scientists say that the jet fuel fire and office fires was 1000 degrees below what it would take to melt steel, what caused the molten steel? Nano-thermite?
Nano-thermite is an explosive that can instantly turn steel to a liquid...molten steel.
There is photographic evidence of huge beams cut diagonally...and the edges of the cut was an exact fingerprint of what nano-thermite can do. That is the pattern demolitionists use to cause a building to fall in it's own footprint...straight down. That, along with the evidence of nano-thermite residue and molten steel micro-spheres in abundance in the 4 dust samples taken around the WTC site is pretty conclusive proof that nano-thermite was used, probably along with other explosives, to bring down the towers and building 7.
And even if the upper floors were weakened and buckled the lower floors all the way down to the ground did not experience the same heat as where the plane crashed. So one still has to contend with the fact that the towers and bldg 7 fell at near free fall speed. With the resistance of the lower structure, that would slow down a collapsing building, and would be nowhere near free fall speed. The only way to achieve near free fall speed is to remove the resistance to the downward fall of the upper structure by demolition procedures.

Ever since watching 911, George Bush as a first responder just sitting, reading a goat story, for about seven minutes after the first plane hit a sense of alarm was within me. But at that time asked myself: Why didn’t Bush get up from his goat story and go after the first initial plane hit. It’s intuitive, one should feel it, Bush knew something was to happen and he waited.
It is not to build the case that Bush conspired, but it is that Bush had the power, and the intelligence system to prevent such a horrible event. It’s the case that Bush let it play out. Intentionally, deliberately, with a future plan that had all the military reasons to take actions at levels as never before. All this should now be considered by a grand jury of separate charges to six separate individuals, Bush, Cheney, Rove, Bolts, Rumsfeld, and Rice. All should be charged with at least minor negligence, or severe treason. We had enough of the Congressional and Senate stuff, it’s Grand Jury time. This is not conspiracy, all the criminal vectors are statistically regressive and they point to all those listed.
When I found out that Bush has a bother that is connected to the insurance company that is contracted for the security equipment in the trade towers it turned into vision like a Cecil B. De Milles wide screen picture of the greatest story ever told. This is bigger than the bible.
Thanks for the reference to the videos. This is the first time I saw them. Which adds to my personal view, Bush knew something awful was going to happen. He, Bush, did nothing to prevent it. Or actually, side tracked events so the tragedy could play out. And what connects the Bush family again to the Arabs is the security company for the towers. Marvin P. Bush, the little-known younger brother of George W. Bush, was a director of Securacom/Stratesec, a Kuwaiti/Saudi-backed company, until June 2000 (A year and three months before 9/11). The company that provided electronic security to the World Trade Center in the days before the attacks and provided security to Dulles International Airport (Where the government says Flight 77 took off from).

On 9/11, Marv Bush was on the board of HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc., which insured parts of the WTC. He is still an adviser to this company. This begs the question. Were there insurance liabilities that could be erased, or stock and bond liabilities that could be written off? It also suggests scandal of treasonous proportions. All covered up by the media.
All a not too difficult an issue for a complete Democratic take over for the Congress and the Senate on grounds that new evidence is compiled from 911 that could involve a cover up in the Bush administration. As an October surprise, offered before the election in that the Congress and Senate need to be Democratic to open and air formal grand jury investigations.
That could carry on for years.
I don't know if 19 Middle Eastern men plunged planes into the towers and the Pentagon and tried to hit the White House. So who in the White House would have worked out this bizarre conspiracy? Was Cheney off in his bunker? And as someone wrote, why were all these Muslim guys taking flying lessons--learning to fly but not to land or any other part of it?
And if our own government was responsible--or let it happen--why? If what they wanted was an excuse for war, why such a bloody act? If war was wanted, it could have been started with a less disastrous event. I find it hard to believe that even Cheney and Rumsfeld could have concoted this--but I don't know. I am also skeptical about all those lone, dysfunctional, unstable gunmen, who were probably not very bright, shooting Jack Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, and Martin Luther King. And I'm still skeptical that Paul Wellstone's plane with his wife, daughter and several staff members, somehow fell out of the air--although that's what David Wellstone, one son, says. My first thought when I heard that was Cheney was in the mix somewhere.
Maybe Bush sat so long reading My little goat or whatever it was that if there was an American-made conspiracy, nobody told him.
To go back to what we Americans learned or should have learned: We seem to be skeptical about everything. That's probably OK; too many of us just accept the official version of everything that the government and corporate interests want us to believe. And we should never ever go off to war in retribution for even this horrendous act. And we even got the target wrong. What we did is kill several thousand other people, and maim and injure many thousands more, wreck a country or a whole area, and make it harder to ever find a way out of the Middle East mess or these countries to recover.
I don't know if we'll ever know any of that.
In early 1964, an analysis was done by WTC building designers, that calculated that the WTC towers could handle the impact of a 707 or DC8 traveling at 600 mph without collapsing. "Such a collision would result in only local damage which could not cause collapse or substantial damage to the building..."
Between 1984 and 1985, Les Robertson, one of the original structural engineers said, in response to whether the towers would collapse from a bomb or a slow moving airplane. He said that "there is little likelihood of a collapse no matter how the building was attacked."
In 1993, John Skilling, a building designer, recalled his people doing an analysis that found that the twin towers could withstand the impact of a 707. They believed that the fuel would dump into the buildings causing a large fire but "the building structure would still be there."
In 2001, Leslie Robertson, one of the two original structural engineers for the WTC, says that "I designed it for a 707 to smash into it." He also says "The twin towers were in fact the first structures outside the military and nuclear industries designed to resist the impact of a jet airplane."
On Jan 25, 2001:
Frank A. Demartini, the on-site construction manager for the WTC: "The building was designed to have a fully loaded 707 crash into it. That was the largest plane at the time. I believe that the building probably could sustain multiple impacts of jetliners because this structure is like the mosquito netting on your screen door--this intense grid--and the jet plane is just a pencil puncturing that screen netting.."
Sept 3-7, 2001:
Just before 911..Roberson again made a statement that the towers would remain standing after a jet-liner crash.
After 911:
Leslie Robertson was not available for comment...said his Manhattan firm..."we are going to hold off on comment".
In 2002:
Leslie Robertson said: "I support the general conclusions of the NIST report. The WTC was designed for the impact of a low flying slow flying Boeing 707. ....it was not designed for a high speed impact from the jets that actually hit it."
So Robertson has made some glaring contradictions. And although he now says that their previous calculations was only done with a low speed crash (600 mph)...he now says 180 mph was used in the original calculations and says nothing about the 600 mph speed they repeatedly said before 911.
Question is...why has Robertson seemingly changed his tune? Was he pressured to reverse his previous statements? Do you now trust what he says now?

I do not think anyone can pinpoint in time when we were taught to lock our doors as homo sapiens.
Prior to the events of 9/11, there were many altercations and highjackings of commercial airlines. It should come as no surprise the need to have secure cockpits on planes, buses, and various other operation centers. Moreover, given the current rate of bank robberies, it still astounds me that banks and other businesses that deal in lots of cash are not required to have concave Gorilla glass, concrete and steel enclosed banking areas.
Furthermore, cities large and small around the world have been plagued by thugs and lunatics since the dawn of man. Our societies are not as civilized as we would like think they are.
9/11 has taught us to value quality regulations and law enforcement despite the effort of corporate pirates to completely eradicate law enforcement. Piracy by proxy in the corporate world, as rampant as it is, has taught people to do exactly what the 9/11 terrorist did; send in religious nuts to screw us all. Now the terrorists are trying to pollute our water, air and land. They are also trying to bankrupt us and rob us all in the same breath. Our politicians should really take note as to who is really pulling the strings, organized crime and terrorists.
Is it not obvious why the Bush administration went to such lengths to pontificate on patriotism and the need to come together and protect the many freedoms we American supposedly enjoy? Is it not obvious why the debris was hauled away before anyone could see it, why such startling disjunctions have been erased, like discussions of the bombs that everyone close to the Twin Towers heard, or why Building 7 just mysteriously collapsed hours after the events on the morning of 9/11? Does anyone wonder why the 9/11 Truth Commission report is riddled with holes and dry as dust? And now those of us who thought we were voting for change and would somehow get to the bottom of what we knew in our heart of hearts was not evil in some axis spanning other parts of the globe, but right before us in Washington DC, now we are left with a gaping disillusionment that increases each day with new reports about this whistleblower, that CIA informant, the newest and latest enemy of the State. Who in all of this is the victim of paranoia and what motivates that paranoia? Remember Raskolnikov in Dostoyevsky’s novel, Crime and Punishment? Such a frantic rush to cover over the evidence, to create alibis and scapegoats. The great movement afoot is to protect not us but the evil that resides at our center. No one would get through the American justice system (the one we thought we had in days gone by) with the brazen distortions, lies and quick change artistry applied by the Bush Administration and now upheld by Mr. Obama. But this much we do know:
The future of America’s so-called freedoms was probably already marked down before 9/11 and the plan for what America has become there on the books ready to be enacted as soon as the first plane hit the North Tower on 9/11.

After checking the internet for the architect that originally designed the Twin Towers, I found that his name is Minoru Yamasaki. He and his team of architects designed the Towers with a design that won their company the bid over many other firms. I will not go into depth concerning each detail that made his design different, but if you would like too, just Google his name and you too will find out all the information on his explanation of why and how the Towers were brought down. But if you’re a die-hard conspiracy theorist, you will probably find a reason why he is lying !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am amazed that no one bothered to mention the statements made by the architectural designer that created the buildings that were destroyed by the aircraft that flew into them! The main support structures that supported the two main towers were located on the outside of the buildings, not on the inside, as most conventional designs. Once the outer support skeleton was weakened, there were no inner support beams to hold the floors from pancaking downward. The weight of each failing and falling floor caused the floor beneath to fall down, one after the other. The buildings having their skeleton on the outside of the structure allowed for more room on the inside of the building. The buildings were not designed to support themselves once the outer support structures (skeleton) were weakened by the impact and the jet fuel that cascaded downward, melting the main support skeleton. This information was explained to the world by the team that designed the structures. Unfortunately I do not have a web site to go to that explains why the structures failed. I will Google what information I have to see if there is a report on line. I truly believe Bush and Cheney were capable of many evil things, but to believe they were responsible for the terrorist Muslims that flew aircraft into the towers and the information that was disclosed by the flight school who trained these terrorists was all fabricated is really reaching a bit too far. The idea that Bush and Cheney conspired to kill 3000+ Americans to start a meaningless war and they and their cohorts were the main force behind this is almost on the utter most fringes of thought! To believe they could actually pull this off and the only proof are conspiracy theorists that believe it was impossible for the aircraft loaded with fuel to destroy the towers, is almost psychotic and delusional to say the least. And did they also make up the stories involving the training of these men, to fly aircraft that were already airborne. To believe all the people that were involved was just a way to throw the blame in another direction to fool the American public and the World is unbelievable in itself. As I read what other commenters have declared as a conspiracy by Bush and others in his administration, all I hear are a group of angry people that will believe anything that decries of conspiracy to harm the American public. I mean really angry individuals, which will believe anything to justify their hate and distrust of the American government. Sorry guys, you're just a little too far out there for me........I guess you would just call me one of the masses that have been fooled by the evil government that runs this country. To believe that all the people that would have had to be involved in such a scheme have been silenced or unwilling to come forward is in itself is hard to believe. Ever try to keep a secret in Washington, let alone something of this magnitude from the World, good luck chasing the boogey men in Washington...And it is not blight on your record to believe you might need a little therapy! I had to fly over to Europe a number of times after 911, and each time, going and coming back, even on different airlines, I was shocked that they served the meals with sharp, metal, serrated edged steak knives to everyone. This just made a mockery out of the whole bulls!!t of TSA taking away our fingernail files, etc. I even wrote TSA and several news media and nobody was even concerned about it at all. I have never even heard this story anywhere on the news in all the years since.
I certainly agree with you that many very visible media personalities tend to shun the topic questioning the government official conspiracy theory. I think that they are very afraid, just like many in the news media, of being labeled unpatriotic or conspiracy theorist. Just look what they did to Bill Maher (and many others..Bill Moyers..Cenk Uygur...etc) when they made comments that wasn't widely accepted...but turned out to be more accepted now. Look at what just happened to Abby Martin of Russia Today (great, new RT show...she doesn't pander to any political party...and in my opinion...she is very much worth watching). Abby Martin tried to question Rand Paul and wound up getting threats from Rand Paul's attorneys that they were going to sue her and get her press credentials revoked.
More and more people are finally starting to question authority...now that it is becoming pretty obvious to most that being patriotic doesn't really get you anything but screwed by the oligarchs.
His connections with Saudi Arabians is and always will be suspect.
They did not need to be incompetent or complicit, to have "let it happen" - while all too ready to exploit America's "second Pearl Harbor" as described in their own 1990s PNAC "Project for a New American Century" document, and Naomi Klein's "Shock Doctrine." Calling them 'incompetent" gives them a pass, unnecessarilly absolving any greater responsibility for later consequences.
Fact is we don't usually call successful projects "incompetent" -- nor should we in this case. We do so now naively, only to our own future risk. Until we or future historians conduct a full and complete investigation, we are left with speculation based on demonstrably incomplete evidence and information.
I have always believed that the Bush administration knew, to the last detail, about the terrorists plans to fly ONE plane into ONE of the towers - and decided to "enhance" the plan for political AND monetary gain. I hope someday the truth will come out and the REAL threat to American ideals and freedom will be exposed as the traitors AND MURDERERS they are.
We need more spies spying on the spies...hackers digging for the truth and putting it on display for the whole world to see.

The problem with using that idea of just looking toward the future and forgetting about the past is that if you were to apply that to everything else..we would not have progressed past Stone Age creatures. In order to succeed in the future, you have to know where you've been. Everything we know to be true today..and use constantly to progress even further has depended upon looking at the past..learning what others have learned and done and succeeded or failed at..in order to know what works and what doesn't.
If we used the philosophy that we shouldn't waste our time dwelling in the past then maybe we should forgive every single thief or murderer and just let them go. They are likely to commit those crimes again and again.
Hell, the Republican party couldn't even let go of Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky. They sure are looking to the past when they tell us that they want to reduce social programs so small they can drown them in bathtubs.
Funny, how the criminals just want us to forget about the past so they can continue to screw us in the future. They desperately don't want their treason to be widely known and believed by the majority of people. And saying: "let's just concentrate on the future" is part of how they hope to keep us all dumb and stupid. Unfortunately, they have a lot of Democrats, even Obama, parroting that phrase.
I won't go so far as to require that the Cheney/Bush Administration had a hand in the 9/11/01 coordinated New York, NY and Washington, DC attacks. HOWEVER from the PNAC "Project For a New American Century" document, etc, (and Naomi Klein's "Shock Doctrine") -- it is all too likely that (1) they "let it happen." (Where was NORAD that day?). And (2) they were ready to exploit it for their benefit when America's "2nd Pearl Harbor" occurred. And (3) they did exploit it to establish a base of empire in the oil-rich Middle-east, that continues today.
Please do NOT minimize their involvement as "incompetence and downright negligence" We don't know that and won't until the historians finally get to the bottom of this after a full investigation of all relevant facts -- something which has NOT occurred. To dismiss these obviously successful _?_'s is foolish and grossly underestimates the magnitude of the problem we people of USA and the world face today.
As an Engineer I am familiar with the "A&Efor 9/11 Truth" campaign; and I support only their call for a complete re-investigation of the resultant destruction of the WTC Complex, including unaddressed issues such as destruction of Building Seven.

You know this response had to be comming, Sooooo how many high jackers were there with box cutters ? We've all seen box cutters and we all pretty much know it would be next to impossible for a skinny arab with a , what ! A 1 inch depth blade, to kill a struggling vicitm with a box cutter. I suppose if they remained completely still while they allowed someone half their size to slash their jugular vein. How many high jackers total where there 11 or 14 ? How many per plane ? There are several highly decorated fighter pilots, former Marines who doubt this whole fairy tale. In fact there are more credible doubters with expertise than supporters. More than half the public in both the US and Europe believe the whole hoopla was a sloppy inside job, poorly executed, and poorly covered up. When the bottom half the structure of the twin towers isn't strong enough to stand when the weight of the top half is removed it defy's logic and 7th grade physics. Building 7
had a fire inside for no apparent reason and then colapsed for no apparent reason. For all the discredit by the right wing wackos telling us all we have tin foil wrapped around our heads It is overwhelming to almost all with an IQ over 80 that something went down that day which did not involve terrorist from outside the nation. The real terrorists where corporate capitalists taking control of a free democratic government for total control of international governments. They took control over millions of citizens as if they were livestock. Regardless of the consequesnces we all demand a complete unbiased investigation and bring the real criminals to justice. All those before and behind the scenes. I am disappointed in you Thom, Bill Moyers, and others who refuse to acknowlege the truth in order to avoid eroding their credibility and will eventually go down in history as cowards.
hb091666: that's exactly right! The law of physics...which nobody either seems to understand, or doesn't wish to. Just the law of physics disproves that the WTC buildings came down as a result of airliner crashes and the subsequent fires. The only way those buildings could have come down like that (ie: at very close to free fall speed) is if there were no resistance to the falling floors (as there would have been if it was just a matter of "pancaking" as the official government conspiracy theory suggested). And the floors were not just falling, they were being disintegrated as they fell...only by explosives could this have been done. OBL sure couldn't have pulled this off. All of the timing and logistics demands that 911 was an inside job.
Look, we live in a corrupt world. There is a pattern here. It goes back to Nixon in the 50's and those same people are still here. The John Birch Society. If you look at all of our nations tragedy's since 11/22/63, there are two common threads.
1. Sloppy investigations
2. The bush crime family.
Frankly, I think we are doomed to history repeating itself over and over again.
There will be a lot of charter schools coming soon,because thats is where the money resides.
The education will still be less than adequate for our future Americans worker and citizens.
While crime goes up prisons will be buildt by non union workers who also sent their kids
to the same schools that refuse to teach finanical education to help them make good
decisions in the business of life. Just look forward for more simple people to arrive
for assistance and a job that pays nothing.
I remember seeing a photo on TV that showed both Bush's on each side of Bin Laden with their arms around him. Bush Sr. and Bin Laden had a falling out and Bush Jr. made it a point to "get even". Bush won 2 elections fraudalently - that has been proven in court. Started a war in Iraq with Bin Laden as his excuse. We all know that they were Saudi nationals who bombed the trade center. Did he go after Saudi Arabia? No, Iraq. How many of those people died and our people for what - revenge? We will NOT let them steal this election. We are mobilizing and we will scrutinze Every single ballot - even if they are passing laws to stop our Right to verify the vote (CO, HB1036). The New Right or as Bush called them "The New World Order"! Democracy will prevail against their Theocracy/Oligarchy!!
