If you would be interested here are the short version of the Five Steps of the Revolution:

But you can have an agenda if you want it and one which will work! You do have a coherent message and you are giving it to the 1% and their millions of workers. Only their arrogance and complete lack of understanding of the people will be their downfall for the 1% and their millions of eyes are losing all gravitational control! By lying to themselves, the bankers are trying to comfort each other, but instead, we see, they are shaking in their boots!

Here are the five steps again:

    1) Oneness in Unity is the First Step

    2) Quantitative easing which is the creation of money by the stroke of a pen (making book entries and calling these dollars) FOR THE PEOPLE, THROUGH THE WILL AND ACTION OF THE PEOPLE! This is the Second Step.

    3) Turn the U.S. military (who are your own sons and daughter) and are run by the 1%, turn them back into your own military to work with the people, for the people and their future generations. This is the Third Step.

    4) Then you can legally surround the 1% and it's millions of working eyes on every level who work against the people and remove them into the concentration camps they have secretly built for you, the people of the United States of America. You will then take back your courts, release the innocent from your jails and in time shut them down for where there is no poverty, there is no crime. Those who are criminally insane will be dealt with on a different level. This is the Fourth Step.

    5) Create a People's Shadow Government. This is the Fifth Step.

For full explaination on these Five Steps along with another, please see the Forums (or blogs) below this one: :

    Cygnus1 and the five steps #14, #24, #29, # 31, #32 I have created on the forum below.:

A great start and excellent indicator that real change is on the way would be the removal of Scott Walker from his Govt. job. The next step would be removal of all regressive politicians such as McConnell, RE-CANTOR, Ryan, etc. Replacement of these individuals with progressive common sense thinkers like Senator Sanders would restore representative democracy for the 99%.

The aiding and abetting of Bankster fraud by means of purchased political favor should be prosecuted as a crime and financial restitution made to the millions of victims. Political misconduct or conflict of interest by Supreme Court Judges is a crime to be taken serious leading to grounds for removal.

Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, and France are all fine examples of economy and society being run democratically to meet the needs of the public, instead of profits for a few. DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM which is pure DEMOCRACY is hopefully the change headed our way!

New to rt news and Thomm's show. Sooooo happy to have finally found a site that speaks to me. Interested in some of the ideas here. For instance, if there is no genuine government to turn to for guidance, what can people do to change anything? If even a credit union is useless because it still deals with money, how do you save up your wealth? Looking forward to all answers. Hoping to join in the conversation once I get a little bit more confident. Thomm: I've been watching your show for the past few months and have purchased several of your books. Very impressed and want to say 'thank you' for teaching people so much about these important issues.

An Alternative to Capitalism (if the people knew about it, they would demand it)

Several decades ago, Margaret Thatcher claimed: "There is no alternative". She was referring to capitalism. Today, this negative attitude still persists.

I would like to offer an alternative to capitalism for the American people to consider. Please click on the following link. It will take you to an essay titled: "Home of the Brave?" which was published by the Athenaeum Library of Philosophy:

Our political system is broken. As a people, Americans now identify themselves with some label rather than as Americans. Significant political discourse has largely broken down, not just in Congress, but between many in our country. My belief is that significant change needs for the citizenry to take back our government!

1: Unfortunately, the Wall St protest is "pigeon-holed" as a leftist movement. Analysts say that most in this movement blame the bankers while most in the TEA Party blame the politicians. But the ultimate responsibility (& blame, if you want to play that game), originates with American citizenry! What all sides want is accountability & representation. The Wall St protesters should be declaring they WANT the TEA Party present, since their ultimate goal is the same thing, to have fair representation! Unfortunately, much of the impetus of the TEA Party was hijacked by political & monied interests. The Wall St protest wasn't against business, it was against a political system that allowed them, the banking & financial institutions to have more political rights than American citizens. I think THAT'S something most citizens, regardless where they stand on the political spectrum, would support. And by passing the two amendments I suggest below (or some improved variation), makes our system more accountable to its citizens & less accountable to money.

2: A Constitutional Amendment needs to be passed to make all lobbying illegal as it is in the UK which has a vibrant democracy. This will prevent so many in Congress, from various administrations & members of the military from getting a "gravy train" job following their tenure in government, such as Billy Tobin did after driving through G.W. Bush's Medicare Part D through Congress. This will not eliminate some "gravy train" corruption since some government employees can be compensated for "selling out" the best interests of American citizens when they take private sector jobs, but at least their won't be hundreds of K Street lobbyists representing the monied interests. If SCOTUS wants corporations to have a voice, they can do so directly, not with paid hacks.

3: Another Constitutional Amendment outlawing all political ads by political parties & anyone else, on all media (TV, cable, radio, etc), with the exception being the internet & maybe print media, like newspapers. In the UK, there are NO TV & radio political ads! This will be extremely difficult to pass, considering the amount of money involved, but think of the benefits! No longer will money represent the ability to buy politicians (even the "honest" ones must be influenced by this payola), and to get their message across, politicians will have to rely on town meetings, flyers, the internet & perhaps newspapers (who could use an infusion of need cash). This would free up races to those without huge "war chests" & would make politicians more accountable to the people they serve. And remember, Amendments trump everything, including SCOTUS! They can only interpret the Constitution, they can't declare any part of it "unconstitutional".

    Signed,

An American Citizen (my first, middle & last names).

PS: My political email is jeffs.speakout@gmail.com. Please do not expect me to friend anybody I don't know on Facebook or any other form of social media.

Are they listening? Probably not. These bankers are tone deaf to the experiences of ordinary people. Think about it. These are the same guys who believed that derivatives were a good idea. They are idiots. They started the ball rolling for their own demise and then only were saved because George W. Bush was willing to hand them a $700 billion bailout, no questions asked.

They have become "too big to fail." They should be broken up into many smaller entities that are not too big to fail. Then, they should be allowed to fail if they misbehave again. What is wrong with repairing a systemic problem? Any organization that is deemed too big to fail is by definition too large to exist. Let's act in the best interests of everyone. Save these banking fools from their own stupid behavior. Find one banker today who will tell you that derivatives were a good idea.

If they were stupid enough to build derivatives, who knows what they may do next. When some of the smarter bankers warned those at the top that this derivative game was going to bust, those smart bankers were fired. They were not going to allow people with good sense to tell them how to operate their banking business.

Occupy Wall Street will have succeeded when the Attorney General of the United States brings indictments against the leaders of these banks. These bankers essentially robbed the banks they ran. Why should they be trusted to continue leading the banks they robbed the last go around.

Smashing store windows, burning cars, and the like is definitely not the way to go. However, you may notice that the police do not recognise peaceful demonstrations. The people are battoned, locked-up, run over by motorcycles and horses. So, you need the U.S. military back working alongside the people, protecting the people, in order to stop these wicked acts against the people by the police, through the removing the 1% and their workers right out of office from the top of the ladder to the bottom.

The people cannot rise up against the U.S. military working for the 1%. Those military are not of the American Constitution. They are the military of the 1%. We cannot stress this enough. The U.S. military MUST JOIN BACK WITH THE PEOPLE; their parents, their sons and daughters, grandparents, uncles, aunts, husbands and wives.

    The police must do likewise.

The people who work for the 1% do not respect either type of Revolution, peaceful or otherwise and they never will. Without your own military and police force back working alongside you, the people, you will never gain the upper hand. It is the system which must be thrown out. Without this taking place, any who try to stand for the people will only fail as the 1% stomps on one party after the other utilizing different methods.

It is important also that people such as "Chalaby" in Iraq do not use the Revolution to take power and elevated living privilages to themselves in the guise of "helping the people."

You do not have a government of the people in the United States. The government in the White House do not work for you therefore they do not listen to you, the people.

A democratic system of governance such as one based on the principles of AA's 12 Traditions is anarchistic, which is to say, without hierarchy, not as is commonly misunderstood, chaotic. Governance arises out of rotating uncompensated service to the people. If one is able to put aside misconceptions of AA being a cult and a bastion of religion, the so-called 12 Traditions may be one of many sources of guidance toward a new democratic society, much like the assemblies being held in the OWS sites around the country. I, for one, am for anarchy in the true meaning of the word.

Hello my friend MountainCatBob. I am happy to learn of your optimism for the ultimate victory of the 99%. But changing the system via "forming a new political party" and using the existing electoral system in hopes to eventually gain control over the political machine will not work, for the old geezers in real political power over Washington never need to run for election. They may not even live in the United States. They pay off the elected ones with their money lure, only to once again make the elected representatives subservient, and if the latter still refuse to comply to their dictates, the former then prescribe concrete boots and give them swimming lessons in the nearest big river.

No, no, this time don't waste your time in following due process of law - they don't - but go right at the heart of the power structure of world dominion by the 1%'ers, using your own military and police forces. If you can persuade them to protect the people rather than fighting the people, then you and your friends will easily have gained the upper hand.

Yes, a violent turn at this juncture would call out the forces, now privately screaming at the Administration, for the declaration of martial law leading to a continuation of the evisceration of 1st amendment right we all enjoy. Non-violence drives the 1%ers crazy. They have no justification under law to prevent the peaceful assembly and petition to our government. We must adopt the gradualism of Ghandi, the eloquence and purposeful passion of MLK, and above all the Jeffersonian-multi-level agenda detailing the economic, social, and political issues which must be part of the #OWS Reformation.

Some how, for those us with inconvenient schedules and want to participate but find scheduling and transportation difficult, it would be nice if shuttles or limo services or bus companies could help supporters in shifts with special trips to and from the demonstrations. Those giving there full attention to the cause could have a rest/ break and attend their families while a evening or morning shift arrives. It would be great to see power suites, hard hats, scrubs, and coveralls participate so that workers and the managers could be represented. This democratic participation by everyone will be good for everyone. In the classic Beattle Tune "Revolution" I believe the important quote is "if ya talk about destruction. Don't ya know that you can count me out. " The more individual protesters that are cool and law abiding the better the point will be made. Validation for the cause.

  • Occupy the planet!   13 years 44 weeks ago

    YES!

We WILL change the world. Remember we are the 99%! On July 4, 2012, we hope to assemble for our first national assembly to present our greivences to congress, the president, the supreme court, and to all the people running for office in the 2012 elections. This is our constitutional right! If our greivences are not redressed, we plan to form a new political party which will subsequently make the required changes to our government and eventually change the fabric of our society.
