This and lifting environmental regulations here in “home land” was the goal of “energy independence” all along. And exporting your oil in the name of “energy independence” is like fucking in the name of virginity. Selling your oil off doesn’t contribute to your having a supply of oil that is makes you independent of other Countries supplies of oil. It is a movement in the direct opposite direction.

Dear Top Editors, Nicholas GOLDBERG and Jim NEWTON:
Walker’s WI sees a 92% decrease in number of GED Certificates granted due to increased fees and requirements.
Slaves don’t need an education. And once they get one, even if it is just a GED, they’ll expect to make more than the minimum wage. Keep ‘em trapped with no upward mobility is best for continued high profits.
They didn't refer to Walker's gubernatorial campaign as the "Dark side" for nothing.
UNREPORTED STORY: The dangers of wireless technologies. The microwave radiation emitting from cell phones, cell phone towers, “smart” meters, “smart” grids, “smart” appliances, cordless phones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. The human body has its own electrical frequencies. The artificial frequencies pervading our environment are wreaking havoc with our bodies and the environment. This needs attention!
I’ve come to the conclusion that labor unions are no longer a viable tool to rally support; their days as powerful democratic institutions have come and pass. There are countless reasons why, I believe, labor is no longer a cornerstone for democratic movement in the US, however, I will stick to what I believe is the main reason for not rallying around labor as an organizing tool for the public.
The biggest underreported story of the year (deliberately, I believe) was the huge amounts of dark money in the 2014 election. For example the oil and gas industry spent $721 million on campaigns. How much did other 1% individuals and huge corporations spend to tell a story that the Obama administration was floundering? How did that compare to labor unions' donations? We saw the first election totally bought by the right wing, through the graces of 5 members of the Supreme Court.
Rep House Majority Whip Steve Scalise chose to speak for well-known group of white supremacists and neo-Nazis led by David Duke.
It gets worse. This from CREDO:
“Scalise’s pandering to white supremacists is appalling. But instead of taking action to remove Scalise from leadership, House Speaker John Boehner and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy have stood behind him, confirming Scalise’s position as the number three Republican in the House.”

Senator Jim Inhofe's book calls climate change "The Greatest Hoax." As of right now, he's expected to chair the Senate committee that oversees the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).1
