The Democratic debate last night was mostly about the crumbling infrastructure in Flint, MI and the rest of the US. Bernie Sanders says that we need a trillion dollars for infrastructure. What's wrong with starting the negotiation from there? Our Democratic leaders have, for too long now, started out by saying "the Republicans will never give us that, so let's offer what we think they might give us." That's capitulation, not negotiation. We found 3 trillion for the War in Iraq. What did that get us?
Laissez Faire Capitalism is EVIL. Paying less than a living wage is EVIL.
Peace is the perennial hope of humanity.
It is promised in the Bible, where God "extends peace … like a river." It was promised by the Enlightenment, which had grown tired of religion and thought that reason and "doux commerce," mild trade, would soothe our war-like passions. And it was promised again in our time with the promotion of "globalization" as the road to peace through prosperity.
Are we all supposed to believe and pretend this is the death of a great lady , the wife of a great political figure. NANCY who was Ronnies sounding board, his number one confident his advisor, Ronald Reagans brain. Knowing this she should be endicted by history as should her husband for the treasonous treachery of the 'October Surprise' , in which Reagan and his aids colluded with Americas sworn enemy, the Ayatolla of Iran to keep Americans hostage for 444 days as a political weapon till after the 1980 election to defeat then sitting President Jimmy Carter.
The US stopped this practice in 2007, just in time for new lobbyist money from companies like MONSANTO to look the other way at the poisonous affects of their number one product.
It's a decision that could stop hundreds of beagles from being killed every year, say animal activists. Apparently now we become the new guinea pigs for these 'for profit' toxic multinational chemical corporation products. Wonder if Health Canada has figured in the cancer toll of childrens being used in these new chemical company trials.
One key Democratic demographic, the LGBT community, has largly been ignored by mainstream media. Doing my research on who the LGBT community supports in this election, I discovered that based off all the recent polling, the LGBT community is largly behind Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders. Here is some polling I found:
Bernie IS the Obama we all voted for in 2008 but never got.
