WE are ALL trapped by a system that is sociopathic in nature, a system that we are forced to participate in, even though intuitively we all know it runs against our instincts of humanity and morality.
Interestingly enough the heads of most of these large corporations disproportionately are not burdened with a conscience. These disproportionately are the sociopaths or psychopaths who manipulated or conned their way to the top of a sociopathic system.
The blog where I recommended the book White Trash by Nancy Isenberg has a lot of talk about how class and race have been portrayed on American TV. This was one of the issues her book raised for me that I had wanted to explore further.
It is a proven undisputed fact that the more people that show up and participate in politics and or vote, the more progressive/democratic the elections and our policies become. These policies affect our daily lives every day whether we like it or not.
Virtually everything that is wrong in the world today can be traced back to doorstep of America and its corporations. The US and its corporations care not for the health or well being of the other 95% of the worlds people. They see these people and their countries as nothing but commodities to be exploited to exhaustion then discarded in the name of profit.
Time to debunk Republican rhetoric post policies not true and deceitful. Our government is worse.
I might not be remembering the quote right. I have heard Thom say it many times, but searching the internet has produced nothing. I know that the right is putting every effort to scrub the internet of anything which doesn't fit into their mythology. So, I ask if any of you may know the exact quote and where it is from?
