A Fund Drive Foundation should be started to fund more
Castro made revolution cool, and showed two generations of Latin American leaders they didn’t have to be America’s puppets.
Almost 60 years ago, in 1957, I was in Mexico City staying with a Hollywood family in exile, part of a little community of blacklisted Americans. I mentioned to the father that this guy Fidel Castro seemed to be doing OK fighting a guerilla war in Cuba. (My chief news source in those ancient days was Time magazine, not the most left-friendly of American media.)
Your caller who suggested this is far off base. Though Trump is an egomaniac it does not mean he has a diagnosable disorder. Mental illness is extremely difficult to diagnose. BPS is a serious fatal disease. 10 percent of those with this diagnosis eventually commit suicide. Of course this does not include the many walking wounded who don't get the right diagnosis or who can't afford to. Trump shows no signs of severe mood instability or psychotic breaks.

Computers counted the vast majority of the 130 million votes cast in this years election....Did human error, computer glitches, hacking or other problems change the outcome?
About 25 percent of voters used machines that do not generate a paper trail.
Any hacking, glitches or other errors that affected their votes could be undetectable
But the other 75 percent of the vote, including the key states of Michigan and Wisconsin, could be double-checked in various ways.
Since we are going to do this, why not count the provisional ballots?
Please don't just dump them in with the other ballots. It would be best for the nation if we find out the difference between what was counted and what wasn't. It also would be important to find out why those voters were rejected for regular ballots. Did they have no ID, insufficient ID for whatever the local standard was? What is the "local standard?"
If like me you thought the efforts to block Trump in the Electoral College by groups like the Hamilton Electors was a longer shot than you could imagine, the update below suggests the odds are improving.
This is my rant to a blogger TomDorr on CUBA.
What kind of a police state would the US become if it were under threat for 60 years from a militarily and financially powerful enemy 30 times its population sitting 90 miles off its shore, everyday threatening to either invade or subvert its society and overthrow its government and way of life.
I just heard an interview on Meet The Press with Democratic Congressman from Ohio, Tim Ryan, and I couldn't be more outraged. First of all, he suggests the reason that Democrats keep losing elections is that they are not reaching out to the type of voters that supported Trump. The real problem is that we haven't separated ourselves enough from the types that vote for Trump.
