The Intolerance of the Left

The Left is guilty, perhaps even more so, of the intolerance it accuses the Right of. The psychology of bigotry enables it to believe the opposite.

1. Routine Care, Unforgettable Bills
When Sean Recchi, a 42-year-old from Lancaster, Ohio, was told last
March that he had non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, his wife Stephanie knew she
had to get him to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Stephanie’s
father had been treated there 10 years earlier, and she and her family
credited the doctors and nurses at MD Anderson with extending his life by
at least eight years.

American Healthcare and its Broke Hostages

At some point we Americans decided, if only tacitly, that it is okay to profit on the treatment and healing of the sick in our country, and not just a little, but grossly.

You know i quite can't understand all this defense of BIG OIL by these bloggers. ALL of Canada's TAR SANDS oil is extracted and shipped outside our borders to be refined then sold to the highest bidder internationally by BIG OIL multinational corporations. NOT ONE DROP of Tar Sands oil, secures Canada's energy needs. AND NOT ONE CENT of of the SALE of this oil sold goes into the pockets of Canadians or our GOVERNMENTS with the exception of the PENNIES on the DOLLAR Big Oil pays our governments to plunder our natural resources to defile and pollute our landscape.

Executive Orders

Executive orders we’ve all been waiting for (and fearing).

Donald Trump and His Dire Warnings on "Happy Holidays" Socialism

I'm watching Donald "Corinthians Two" Trump live from the conservative “Value Voters” summit, reading from the teleprompter and reciting Bible verses while talking about how great God and Jesus are, embracing and praising the Judeo-Christian values and insisting that those values are under attack.

Thankfully, he addressed maybe the most important issue that is currently plaguing our nation:

How To Peacefully Separate...If It Ever Comes To That

If America can’t pull it together, if we ultimately divide into camps and abandon all willingness to work together, if we become too resistant to compromise on anything anymore ever again, then before we break out into full-on civil war, I want to present an alternative solution, a failsafe against mass violence. I don’t think we’re there yet, but if the time comes, maybe someone will remember seeing this possibility, this way out, and raise it.

I was just over blogging my regular daily comments on the Canadian Broadcasting network web site and one of our more creative bloggers has one of the best Trump government icons I've ever seen. It looks amazingly like a swastika, but it's not , it's clever design of Trump's 45th president overlaid with an international prohibited sign, I've included it below.

Join us some time www.cbc.ca , our blog sites like yours are under constant right wing attack from people i suspect speak Russian. This should become Americas NEW anti TRUMP emblem.

The Angry American

I have spent the better part of my adult life feeding my own anger. It has become an unfortunate go-to response for me. And really, the more trivial and meaningless the trigger, the more upset I tend to get. It’s not usually the big stuff. For me, it’s spilling the coffee, dropping the greasy spatula onto the kitchen floor, or not being able to find my keys.

There's a 1 in 20 Chance of the Apocalypse. Shouldn't We Act Now?

A new study published in Science argues that we as a civilization need to move "rapidly" -- as in almost immediately -- towards a carbon emissions free future if we are to have any chance of holding off runaway global warming:
