After 33 years in a Union, and a lifelong member of the middle class, I have absolutely no use for a republican. There is one thing that you have to agree with them about: Defunding education. If you have been following the direction of this country over the last 25 yrs, the only thing our children are needed for is their strong backs for the work force, and their corpses for the corporate battlefields.
Neither of these positions require an education. SAD.
MILTON FRIEDMAN'S unbridled greed and capitalism goes hand in hand with HERBERT SPENCER'S social darwinism of the late 1800s.
THE government should help the rich live long and prosper.
THE government should let the rich exploit the working class until they die from hard work and exhaustion.
AND the government should just let the poor die off from starvation and disease because they will never amount to anything anyway and are a drain on society.
NO matter what the issue is - health care - education - unemployment - unions - a living wage - with republican politicans it all goes back to social darwinism.
ONLY THE RICH DESERVE TO LIVE!
Republicans are, to put it simply, Machevellian opportunists! They won't stop until they start seeing their peers voted out or recalled.
Nothing will stop republicans from there charge except us. Unless we go after them like the tea baggers did to us two years ago.
I just watched a Wisconsin Town Hall Meting on you tube and the republican had to stop the meeting. They walked out on the people. The room was full the hallway was full. I live in Vancouver, Wa., and the tea baggers out shouted a meeting with Brian Baird a Democrat and that is what we have to do with all republicans town hall metings. Go to the meetings and be heard.
Kids could be dying in the streets and they will walk around them. Kids could be hungry and they will look the other way and call them lazy and they deserve it.
The GOP has some well made teflon. I'm amazed at what does not stick. Voters, when asked about individual issues, favor liberal positions -but still vote for the extremist GOP.
Wisconsin is the tip of the iceberg as real world GOP policy starts to affect real people in the communities where they live. More of the GOP's coming agenda will create more very real and visible problems for citizens. And the Tea Party crazies (bought and paid for by what really have been big Republican money pots) are really heading off the rails.
I'd be tempted to think these things might trigger a shift in voter opinion, but I've been wrong before on this. The power of GOP propaganda is real and dangerous. The old saying may be true: "Americans always do the right thing -after they've tried all the wrong things".
They are certainly not tone deaf! It is pure and simple: GREED! They only want what they want and to the devil with the rest of us.

Of course they know how to get out their deal with the devil. "Just Say No." It is as simple as that. It is a choice they have made. My favorite Bible passage is the one from Matthew where Jesus tells his followers: "As you have done it to the least of these, my children, you have done it to me." The essential Christian message. Obviously, they are not Christians, no matter what they all themselves.

Even Matt Damon is saying that Obama isn't making the quota. But I heard Matt say that with the connotation that President Obama simply isn't progressive enough. Furthermore, President Obama had the bust of Lincoln moved into the oval office... He is picking up where Lincoln left off - true republican representation. Colorado didn't even have a balanced budget requirement, and the state was crippled by a so-called Taxpayers' Bill of Rights that said the state's spending couldn't grow by more than 5% in any one year (note that inflation typically negates most of that), and all the surplus revenue had to be given back.
Thankfully, we passed an amendment a couple years ago that lets the spending increase by 5% above inflation (or something like that). This will keep the state from being mired in low budgets (since huge cuts have been made recently) after the economy recovers.
The fascist-Nazis know how to get out of it but when Satan has a soul, he will never let it go.

Faith requires that we listen with our hearts and live according to God’s will. Faith does not consist in a formal and superficial conforming to the words in the Holy Bible. Faith is deeper and a more radical level by putting Jesus’ words in your heart and soul. We are to do the will of God out of love. We are called to make the world a place of liberation for all. We are taught as Catholics that the way to peace is justice, such as economic justice. We are called as ordinary persons to build a society in which everyone has an opportunity for an education, health care, and a decent standard of living. We need to pray for the wisdom to know to be fair to all.

As for spending more money than one makes being the definition of "broke" -- well, who would know better about that than the Republicans who inherited a balanced budget budget in 2000 and then proceeded to spend more than they made for the next six years, while controlling the House, the Senate and the presidency? If you cut taxes without cutting spending, then by Boehner's spokesman's own definition, you have steered directly into "broke" waters.
So here's a question. Which is more fiscally responsible: Deficit spending during a recession, when demand has collapsed, and the federal government is the only entity with the wherewithal to jolt the economy back into life, or the conscious creation of a deficit while the economy is doing fine, thereby leaving no slack for action when things go wrong?

Fat Tuesday or Paczki Day
Paczki is pronounced poochkey.
Paczki Day is the day before Ash Wednesday and the start of Lent. Lent leads us to the greatest holyday of the liturgical year. Easter Sunday is the greatest holyday. It is the Resurrection Day and the day reminds us of life after death. The day is also about The Cross. We are to see The Cross as a sign of Love and Life and not Hatred and Death. Lent is also a time for almsgiving, fasting, sharing of talents, sacrifice, and prayer. It is our time to prepare for Jesus’ Resurrection and the life that awaits us after dying.
Paczki is a pastry and inside the pastry is a filling of custard, cream, or fruit paste, such as apple, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries, to mention some of the fruit paste.
I voted no because the description of the yes answer is so rediculous. The ONLY thing that will reset this nation back to where the people own their government, the pretext of the Constitutional Convention itself, is another revolution.
The time has clearly come.
