Thom, you talk of Reagan and the onset of changes that have taken place since his presidency. Like the closing of mental institutions and the people like Jared that have been let loose on society. In my opinion it was H.W. that was steering the boat and his puppet masters that are purposely out to destroy this country. I can't think of anyone in my lifetime that has done more damage than his son W. IQ 75. I say reload, not guns but our minds with the knowledge that these people are the danger to AMERICA the greatest country that this planet has ever seen. Countries around the world use to worship us and copy us for the benifit of their own people. Lyndon Larouche has warned us about this for decades. H.W. put him in prison to try and shut him up. The man is 88 and still going strong telling the real truth of what is happening to our world and being an economist and statesman has offered insight and solutions that will work for all of mankind and yet one of the countries leading patriot.

Intermixing the two parties to give the appearance of unity does NOT create unity. However... it does camouflage the disparity... which is exactly what the republicans would want. After all... "both sides do it".

Spot on. These Libtards wrongly think Conservatives are the Nazis. They truly don't see that the Nazi state, with the exception of the Aryan race superiority nonsense, was the same as what the Progressives are trying to achieve today in the United States. Full government control and regulation on everything. National Socialist party = Nazi. Nationalized healthcare, nationalized education, nationalized banking, nationalized media, and on and on and on.

Arranged geographically to roughly represent a population-skewed map of the country would be interesting. Neighbors having to sit with neighbors might affect behavior in a good way.

Libtards are disgusting and destructive. You are misguided. Conservatives aren't holding the entire world's economy hostage by refusing to simply raise the debt ceiling. They are being highly practical which is unnerving to Progressives. The better approach is to reduce the spending. You and all the other Libtards have it so backwards. If you can't buy it, don't. That is how many households across America operate and so should our government. If those households that instead turn to more credit keep going they eventually have more bills than they can pay. They go bankrupt. If they can't afford to go out to dinner every night because they would not be able to pay their mortgage/rent, then they don't or else they lose their roof. Simple logic. Live within your means.
That is exactly what is the problem with the Progressive Obama and ilk has been doing the past 2 years. They've redistributed our wealth and have borrowed more than could have been imagined and it has only put us closer to the point of bankrupt and worsened our economy and future. Raising the debt ceiling only kicks the can further down the road...although further is only a year or so.
Quit spending so much money on welfare (redistribution of wealth), cut the nanny state budgets, unfund Obamacare, unfund the DOE, DOEd, DOI, etc., and by saving the money you wouldn't need to increase the debt ceiling.

You have no idea how such tariffs would actually backfire on this country. Do you really think that the country that would have this "sufficiently high" tariff slapped onto it would not retaliate?

The short and simple document that is the basis of this country has a very brief section in it that prohibits your desire to abolish firearms in this country. However, you could move to England and you'd get your Progressive wishes...socialized medicine along with firearms restrictions. Yes, your shit does indeed stink. First off, who is to determine who needs what sized clip? Also, do you really think that if clips were reduced to 6-10 rounds a clip that would change anything? Keep in mind a criminal will plan accordingly and either bring more clips or more loaded guns to accommodate for such an event to get his/her point across for mass murder. It is a known fact that crimes of multiple killings in large gatherings were involving multiple weapons per perp as they were prepared for the situation. This is lunacy to think that clip size will actually make any difference. You have to be a shallow thinker to discredit the ingenuity of those who ultimately wish to kill people. I feel sorry for you that you couldn't see past that and understand the overcoming and adaptation of the common criminal. Also, owning a gun is not an addiction at all as it takes a discipline and respect like no other to practice safety and the ability to properly fire the weapon. OK here is a thought. Have the Democrats get on board this proposal but with an amendment that they will not compromise on. Place a tarrif on all imports of something (cell phones?) sufficiently high to do two things, 1) pay for the enforcement of the law and 2) reduce the deficit by the same amount. Then carry this logic through on EVERY bill that the Retards propose. By the end of the year we will have the income to make a real difference to the deficit and will have created 1,000´'s of jobs. This would also be a plan to cover the "costs" of the tax cuts that they will be pushing. Lets see who has spine in Congress.

Any law enforcement officer will tell you that most gunfights are over after a total of 6 rounds from both sides. It is the rare occasion that large amounts of bullets are fired and usually only if the bad guy has AN EXTENDED MAGAZINE!! Also, anybody that thinks people use 30 round 9mm extended mags to protect themselves from grizzlies in alaska doesn't know much about grizzlies. If you get two shots off at an attacking grizzlie you are lucky and they better be bigger than a 9mm cause if that is all you shoot at the animal you are just going to piss it off. The 9mm acp was designed for one thing, killing humans, so don't bring that protection from animal stuff to the argument. The narcotic effect that holding, owning and shooting a firearm has on a segment of this population needs to be recognized for what it is, an addiction. Maybe we can get some help from the new health care law for recovering firearms addicts. Most of them need as much counseling as the perp from tuscon.

Being a displaced son of the great state Gohmert represents, Texas, I know the sentiment. But I cant imagine a lack of security while they are in DC. As a lifetime gun owner I really dont want new legislation that will be debated as "Gun Control" legislation. I would support "Idiot control" measures such as the fairness doctrine. If we made it illegal to load large magazines people would carry many smaller legal magazines or multiple handguns or theyd simply break the law and keep their 30 and 50 round magazines. I will carry a butterknife if they thats the law. I will abide by the law of the land. You know I'm fairly deadly with a good wrist rocket many birds and squirrels I've eaten at the campfire would attest if they could.

Conception wouldn't matter in astrology if you're going to make a gravitational argument. Gravitational acceleration would be meaningless because everything around is accelerated the same. So enjoy listening to the Thom Hartmann Show and Ed Shultz, but I am so tired of needing to be attached to my computer all of the time in order to listen. I call and email my local radio stations constantly requesting those two shows--to no avail! We have nothing but right wing radio on the airwaves here. There is no balance in perspective, and all of the local television news stations are nothing more than evening magazines. They cover virtually minimal national news. Between the fires, traffic accidents, shootings, the traffic reports, the medical reports, the consumer reports, the animal abuse & child abuse stories, the twice a half hour weather reports, and the huge amount of time dedicated to sports, etc., one would never know our country is falling apart. What can we, as average people, do to get something other than right wing hate talkers on the local radio airwaves?
We had "one" local personality who called herself the "Lone Liberal" who has been basically blackballed from the airwaves in our area. The radio station she used to appear on is now totally right wing hate talk. As soon as she appeared on another station, a "Christian Group" came in and actually bought the radio station. What can we do?

In fact the season does affect the general psychology of the people/parents which could have an effect on the child. Capricorns are rather serious because they are the darkest months of the year which can have a big psychological effect on people/parents. Around 2000 years ago Hipparchus set up the zodiac into 12 equal signs of 30 degrees. Prior to that a zodiacal sign lasted anywhere from 15 to 45 days depending upon the size of the constellation. Hipparchus also noted that due to precession, the zodiac would have to be adjusted every 2100 years because in that amount of time, the zodiac would have shifted 30 degrees. He also noted that every 67 years the zodiac would shift by one whole day or one degree. Only the Vedic astrologers every took this into consideration. How Hipparchus figured all this out is still a mystery since who would notice a 1 degree shift in the period of a human life span?
So, this was not news to me since I studied this subject years ago.
