This is a 47 minute story of John Needham, told by John's father, about John's horrible experience and abuse by the US Army in Iraq. John witnessed many war crimes by other US soldiers...like beatings of 14 year old Irai children, and many murders and gruesome actions against unarmed Iraqi citizens...like skinning an Iraqi's face. And when John tried to avoid these things he was shunned and harrassed by the other soldiers and his commanding officers. They even sent him and another guy deep into a dangerous ambush situation, alone, and they were almost killed even though he had called for assistance..which he got no reply. John had tried to commit suicide in Iraq...and they put him in prison and continued to harrass him. John's father tells how tough it was to finally get him back to the states and into a hospital all the while the Army was trying to send John back. Dispite John's mental and very bad physical (medical) condition..fractured vertibrae..and other things the army was desperate to send John back to Iraq. No doubt hoping he would get killed to cover up what he witnessed. This video has some very gruesome and disturbing color photos of some of the atrocities that John's fellow soldiers had committed...so avoid watching, if you are sensitive, at about minute 38...there is a warning on the video. The National Defense Authorization Act....authorizes the US Government to use the US Military to imprison American citizens who question the government's political agenda, and detain them with no charges, or trial, indefinitely.

Why would they? They spent years gettingthings the way they want them, and you think they're going to change things back the way they were? LOL Better chance of electing Fidel as president.
If they do it'll have a time bomb attached, or a poison pill. Wouldn't be like them to pass up a golden opportunity to get something they want, like the XL Pipeline.
I am not that bad :). I did error when I said healthcare tax, as corrected by my relative in Gemany. My bad. I am not an old wealthy man, but a young one in my 20's. It just upsets me when I see how people want to be like all these socialist countries in Europe.
This is not made up. I have a relative who works for BMW. Thanks for trying to discredit me. I expected that on this site. You may ask, why does this conservative post on here? Well honestly, I do like to hear all sides speak. I listen to Thom on Sirius each day. I agree with some things, and disagree with some things. I do atrongly oppose this want to transform America into a socialist society. I just deep down do not think it is right or in with the Founding Fathers. However, it is your opinion, so I respect it. I just would really like to understand why you would like it to be this way? This week on the show from Sweden, the fellow being interviewed spoke of how Sweden was great in terms of the nationalized healthcare, social programs, etc. however, he also stated that America was great because the individual was responsible for themselves ( not the government). This is what makes America great. We control our own destinies, for the most part. Sure, there will be bumps in the road. Some will have mountains to climb, andsome will never get out of the gutter. Don't you like the fact that YOU control your destiny as opposed to having nearly everything handed to you by a government?
Thanks for the replies. I have family in Germany, so my figures are fairly accurate on their taxes there. What keeps me awake at night are people like you who think it is ok to redistribute my successes and wealth to those whom have opportunities such as I, yet do nothing with them. Unfortunately, there are winners and losers in capitalism. I am by no means wealthy and make under $100 k a year. However, I do donate several thousands of dollars annually to a couple of choice charities in my local community. Also, Ispend time volunteering to help my fellow neighbors whcare not as fortunate as I. That is just the right thing to do for all of us. If we all toothat's approach,don't would not need government intruding on our private property and such.
We have to pay, so that our wealth can be redistributed.

Ron Paul has a long history of working for freedom.. Ron Paul voted against the patroit act, Iraq war. He has decleared himself dangerous to the status quo of this country.
I loved your interview from Sweden about the Pirate Party. I hope it takes off over here. The Pirates will smother the dinosaur Tea Party before they know what hit them!

Ron Paul has some good ideas .. ending wars..cutting foreign aid..auditing the Goldman run Fed.. but Ron has some dangerous ideas as well He wants to gut all programs whether good or bad , wasteful or working well. Thats extreme. Young folks love him..they fear SS will not be there for them but it can be IF we do right things now . End SS tax cap. Charge seniors a bit more for benefits. Cut the massive fraud . and over billing that exists . It can be done Not GOP / Ryan way NO privatizing NO vouchers That will lead to disaster

Over many months I've heard in the media, "Paul will never be the candidate of the GOP -- they consider him a liberal and don't like him." But they said the same about Mitt, because he's a Mormon, and he was the front runner lately. Looks like the mood among pro-Republicans flip-flops all the time. And who knows what crazy flip-flops are gonna happen until November....

It doesn't matter if a so-called job creating program was initially supported by the GOP, or even formulated by them. If Obama endorses any plan, Republicans with sing like Groucho Marx, "I'm Against It". The GOP's purpose as defined by McConnell is to defeat him, even if it hurts the nation.

On the subject, "Is Government by 'Hostage-Taking' Over?", I believe though the Tea Party will be forgotten, the old regime which had already taken the United States hostage, beginning in 1959, thinks it is here to stay.
One has to wonder , Are you sure the tea party is controling Congress or is it, constant preparations for war. What else or who else has control over our congress? Today , Washington has nothing else on its mind but war, and more war. We hear, Iran, Iran Iran.. Earlier it was Iraq Iraq Iraq ..Don't worry Iraq will pay for this war? I cannot imagine anything getting done right in Washington with this kind of mind set.. War, War War! We could end these wars today and perhaps we can, Again ~ Ron Paul is the only candidate with a plan for peace...OR, perhaps one could say hopefully a 3rd party candidate with the same sort principles. I wonder whats up with Ralph Nada ?.... These wars need to stop, this will be one way to bring back balance to this great country again...
