Palindromedary, it is interesting that the CIA special department continues in wishing to keep secret the "message" which extraterrestrials bring to the human race upon the face of this earth. They will go to great lengths to sway the peoples attention toward otherworldly events such as the Roswell crash. The Navy is a very heightened participant in this.

The very word "extraterrestrial" belongs to everyone on the face of this earth because this earth long ago was to be a waystation for intergalactic craft to meet and communicate. It was such a lovely planet. I believe we have already covered this on one of the earlier forums so I will not go into this again at this time, but to say that this planet of earth has been seeded by many intergalactic human races as they visited this world, so I smile when people refer to "others" who come to visit this earth as "extraterrestrials" or "aliens." I place such words in quotations.

With the CIA and their secret departments, they have stated they have many files concerning "extraterrestials," and you know that in many of those files, are information contained from human beings just like ourselves. We are no different than any other human being in form save that of those who have overcome the illnesses or damaged body DNA, which make for bodily imperfections.

It is vitally important that we, as a peoples, understand the "message" brought to the human race, by those from other worlds, whom, many of them, reside upon this planet, here, today. And this is something your CIA and their various branches (including portions of the Military) do not want the people to even remotely focus upon. Better for them if people focus upon ones whom have large black eyes instead, and nothing but the Roswell story, as it is talked to death.

Let us instead then focus upon the "message" which this, the human race, needs to know for their own survival and happiness, instead of focusing upon the overworn Roswell story.

Thank you, Palindromedary for the Presidential briefing and that of Colonel Donald M. Ware, concerning what many call UFOs.

UFOs are simply a format of transportation, from planet to planet, galaxy to galaxy, and universe to universe through vortexes and the shifting of molecules for molecular travel.

As the tribal regions of long ago upon this earth thought the sight of an aeroplane was an astronomical event, and they all came rushing out of their huts to observe whether this was to be an attack on their culture, and what manner of beings flying such large birds could this be, so it is with many of the peoples of this earth today. But many today are becoming less afraid due to a heightened understanding and the internet.

It is the same with flying saucers, and extraterrestial craft of other designs They are flown in the skies just like our own aeoroplanes are flown in the skies overlooking this earth. First there is the fear from the inhabitants of this lesser evolved world, and then comes the understanding which erases all fear, and replaces that fear with happiness, anticipation, and finally, contentment and a true feeling of security and belonging to a community larger than themselves. - Cygnus1

  • Occupy Wall Street is bringing down the big banks..   13 years 40 weeks ago

September 17th is the day Occupy Wall Street began. If you look back to occurrences on that day in the history of the United States and the world, it is THEE perfect day for it to have started as so many very important beginnings happened on that particular date. If September 17th history is any indication, we may someday be making it into a national holiday. Here’s the list of events occurring on September 17th that goes back almost 400 years that seems to have an amazing thread to it.

    September 17th Events in History:

1630- The city of Boston, Massachusetts is founded, which will become the cradle of the American Revolution.

1787- The U.S Constitution is signed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with the hope that a government and nation was created that truly responded to the will of just WE THE PEOPLE.

1814- Francis Scott Key finishes his poem “Defence of Fort McHenry”, later set to music to become “The Star Spangled Banner”. (All countries need "theme music." I wish ours was changed to "America the Beautiful.")

1858-The black slave Dred Scott dies. The year before the U.S. Supreme Court had ruled that Scott, and by extension all black slaves, were ruled property and not people and that slaves did not in fact become free in a free state. (The Supreme Court would again turn logic on its head in the 2010 Citizens United decision to rule that property, corporations, are essentially people.)

1862- The American Civil War Battle of Antietam is fought. The Confederate Army is forced to retreat back into Virginia. It is the victory Lincoln and his cabinet decided they needed earlier that summer to announce the Emancipation Proclamation. All black slaves thus begin the road to freedom and equality. It is the beginning of Dred Scott's vindication as well. The Battle of Antietam is the bloodiest single day in American history with over 25,000 casualties. Not to discount their sacrifice in any way, but the 1% American oligarchy has been bleeding us dry far too long. They have caused needless pain and suffering that has led to things like the lack of healthcare, that could be easily given to everyone, that annually costs the lives of 45,000 people.

1978-The Camp David Accords are signed by Israel and Egypt, the needed first step to ultimately one day achieve peace in the Middle East.

1980- After weeks of strikes at the Lenin Shipyard in Gdansk. Poland, the nationwide independent trade union Solidarity is established. This is probably the first step in the ending of Soviet domination over eastern Europe and the Soviet Union’s ultimate collapse.

1993- 13 years to the day later, the last Russian troops leave Poland.

2001- The New York Stock Exchange Reopens for trading after the September 11 Attacks, the longest closure since the Great Depression.

2011- 10 years to the day later, the Occupy Wall Street movement began in Zucotti Park, New York City. Hopefully, it is the beginning of the movement that truly establishes the government the U.S. Constitution intended, a government and nation of the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE and for the PEOPLE that will never perish from the earth. Hopefully, it is also the beginning of eliminating greed, social and economic inequality, poverty and creating a better, greener, renewable sustainable earth with peace, harmony, plenty to eat and all are free to pursue happiness and their dreams.

    Jim L

    Sonora, California

P.S. One other date I didn't include as it probably can't be viewed as a really significant beginning:

1778- The Treaty of Fort Pitt is signed. It is the first formal treaty between the United States and a Native American tribe, the Delaware Indians. (I think corporate "personhood" could have started at this much earlier date. The Delawares had to have traded something to the U.S. in the treaty. Perhaps it was those notoriously lax Delaware corporation laws that to this day Delaware is most famous for?)

I disagree, cygnus1. You don't get why they are called "Banksters." You are proposing that we need them for "protection." I am just as likely to get kidnapped at the gas station and forced by knifepoint to an ATM any day of the week. Then I would be killed because, ha ha, there is nothing in my account.

Cygnus 1: The vision you present is certainly making ME smile. With this entire planet having been IMF'D, and with a bleak and violent future ahead, the events you talk about would indeed be welcome. That there is actually INTELLIGENT life here ready to guide us towards the good and the truly righteous : that would be amazing. I"m holding up a glass of wine and saying "here's to the future you write about." Cheers.

Palindromedary, I have not had a chance to look at your most interesting links, in any depth, but I will do so in the next few days. - Cygnus1

"Cygnus1: That was funny....ABOLISH MONEY...then we wouldn't have to worry about transferring our savings from banks to credit unions."

Glad you liked it, but remember, this is not too far off in the overall picture. That should really make you smile! - Cygnus1

"I received an email White House request asking what can we do to put Americans back to work. I replied with: In 1933, as part of the government’s response to the Great Depression, Congress enacted the Buy American Act (the 1933 Act). The 1933 Act provides that: (1) only articles, materials, and supplies mined, produced or manufactured in the United States can be used for public projects; and (2) all contractors for public construction projects in the United States must use only domestic materials.

I replied: "With the stroke of the pen Mr. President, you can put Americans back to work without the support of Congress, since the Law Buy American Act of 1933 is on the books."

    Respectfully,

    George Reiter"

George Reiter, Excellent suggestion. Unfortunately, the foreign power running Washington D.C. will not permit their President who occupies the White House Chair, Obama, nor any other one after him, to apply the rights as given to the government under this statute which has never been repealed.

So we are sorry to say, in full face of the validity of this law, it is not being applied to the benefit of these, the Peoples of these United States of America. Evidently it is once again the 1% and their worker eyes stopping a good law from being implemented, providing one more reason why these people must be removed from offices of "public trust."

When we speak of the term "stroke of a pen" we usually mean the creation of money out of "thin air, which is also a right belonging to the President of the United States, but those Presidents who have ever used that power for the benefit of the people of the United States, have become murdered. - Cygnus1

"Moving our money out of the banks to credit unions is a great first step. Here is another idea, every employed person should go in to work this week and claim a tax exempt status on their W4 form. This is perfectly legal. WE can then demand that our government pass a single payer health plan for all, fair taxation of the top 1% and big corporations , no more corporate welfare , campaign reform ( no more corporate contributions to candidates), complete oversight of Wallstreet by non Wall street cronies, and so much more.- Derek"

This is an excellent idea whilst the Military continues in grouping its men and women together to uphold the Constitution of these United States of America, and the People of these United States of America and thereof.

Do not expect, however, that the foreign-based government in these, the United States of America, will behave in a way to uphold the statutory requirements. But, nonetheless, the Peoples of these United States of America should follow your very sensible and intelligent idea, for we must allow the 1% and their worker eyes no excuse when the day comes when they stand bare-footed, and penniless before the Council, to exonerate themselves from their wicked deeds. - Cygnus1

  • Occupy Wall Street is bringing down the big banks..   13 years 40 weeks ago

Liberal4ever, with the Miltary back on the side of the people, protecting the people, who will the 1% and their foreign based government sitting in the White House and on Capitol Hill and in the Pentagon use to fight the People of these United States of America with? The police against the MILITARY? It will not happen. The police will join with the Military.

If the People speak to their sons, daughters and other members of their families who are in the Military or are Military vets, they will have done their part, including, continuing the occupation, those who are able. Some parts of the country are now cold, but those people can do what they can for others, in other parts of the country, collecting food, clothing, tents, etc.

If the people wait for their Military backing and do not take up guns themselves against the government of the 1% who are based in Washington D.C., but continue instead in doing what you are doing, then there should be no bloodshed anywhere.

The transition will be completed, with the People backing the Military who will arrest the 1% and their worker eyes and complete the process by throwing them directly in the concentration camps which they, the 1%, built for these, the Peoples of these United States of America.

When the new system is in place these wicked ones will then be brought before a Council of Just Men and Women and will be awarded according to their deeds through Universal Principle and Justice.

There will be no more courts, nor lawyers, nor Judges. For the majority of them worked under a system which has always been against these, the Peoples of these United States of America, and against these, the Peoples of the World in each and every nation.

With so much injustice in the land and world wide, the prison halls will be opened and prisons dismantled, and those who are truly unfit for a paradisiacal world, will be dealt with accordingly and be removed from among all others.

The gates of the prisons will be flung open and the innocent and misdemeaners will go free. This is as much as we may tell you, the Peoples of these United States of America, at this time. We will say no more of this until much later.

  • Occupy Wall Street is bringing down the big banks..   13 years 40 weeks ago

I sure burned up a lot of fossil fuel looking at your picture! Yummy! But, alas, this is the internet and for all I know the front half is male.

Yes, what to do...there is certainly a lot of hypocrisy...but who is really going to actually spend double the price for something? What?.. because it is made in the US? Nothing is made in the US anymore except marketing hype, insurance, and other F.I.R.E. economy schemes that are rigged to milk what little money you have left out of you.

Even those products that are ostensibly US brand names are really made overseas. All I have ever bought was "American" cars but how much of that car is actually made in the USA as the dealers and manufacturers want you to believe?

Is it my fault? Really? Which came first the greedy crapitalilst seeking to maximize his profits or the lowly, just-scraping-by retiree who has to watch every penny? The answer is obvious! It's the same old blame the poor for their ills and avoid berating the greedsters who exploit them. And so you make US feel guilty for our plight and not those criminals who created the whole sordid exploitation system that rigged the system so that we really have no other choice?

Those who make lots of dollars don't have to worry about "just making it" and can afford to be pompous and self-righteous when they can afford to pay more...because it pretends to be made in the US. And I would bet that even if one made a lot of money..they still buy as cheaply as possible.

The jobs are all overseas because of greedy corporatists whose only goal is to maximize profit even if it sacrifices people along the way. It is because they have bought a corrupt political system that allows them to do that. So don't blame people who have no other choice but to pay the cheapest prices in order to survive.

I do, of course, agree that it makes little sense to waste a lot of gas in trying to buy the cheapest price. But, in my case, I did not go to Walmart for the purpose of buying bulbs at a cheaper price...I was already at Walmart for other things and noticed the bulbs and how much cheaper they were. I am always conscious of how much it would cost me in gas to take advantage of lower prices and take that into consideration. Walmart is not any farther from me than Home Depot so it would not matter anyway.

But I do know what you mean about some people who just look at the "sales" and will waste more money in gas than they would save on the "sales". But I think many people, especially those who have learned that they need to be economical (like don't pay more than you have to for anything...even though it may make you feel all patriotic and warm inside), have to get what they can at the cheapest price. But don't be penny wise and dollar foolish!

I switched to my local credit union back when Wamu was bought by Chase. Best decision I ever made. I was not a City employee, so in order to join, I had to agree to let the credit union (yes, the credit union, not me) donate $10 a month to our local library. AWWWesome!!!!!! So many people are getting new accounts, it actually had to open longer hours to accommodate them on Saturday!! Yay!

  • Occupy Wall Street is bringing down the big banks..   13 years 40 weeks ago

The bulb? Here is the bulb lightening up my thoughts. Thom Hartmann has preached Economics 101 with the Externalizing Costs, the costs to our environment with polluted rivers, the air polluted, not to mention the loss of the Multiplier Effect, which states that for every one dollar introduced into the American economy, three dollars are introduced in our economy, and are being lost. The “bulb” would not cost $13.00 dollars because the tariffs that no longer exists in America but if reinstituted would bring that “bulb” cost down to reasonable cost that I could afford. The cost of the “bulb” with tariffs would spread that costs throughout the economy. Where we have “comparative advantage” the savings would not go upwards to the 1% population, as now exist where the One Percent’ers take all of our “comparative advantage” to their benefit.

Eiloflight and Cygnus1, you are right on the money with your predictions. I will say we will initally get squashed down like the insignificant bugs they think we are, but following that will be the true beginning of the revolution. We will win, but the violence might make the first civil war seem like a minor skirmish. Good luck to us all.....

  • Occupy Wall Street is bringing down the big banks..   13 years 40 weeks ago

If that bulb were made in the USA it would cost $13. Would you buy it? Your comments about looking for a cheaper price is exactly why the corporations have moved manufacturing out of the U.S. The price complainers will always drive for hours looking for a cheaper priced product. That takes our country out of the world market let alone selling in the U.S. We are in a spiral downward that is ending badly.

How many gallons of fossil fuel did you burn to save $4?

Home Depot is too expensive anyway....I think they have raised their prices quite a bit on things. I bought a Philips 13w 2-pin base (made in Poland) bulb for something like $7 at Home Depot. Then I found an equivalent GE bulb (made in Hungary) for about $3 at another store...may have been Walmart...I know...I know...bad old Walmart...but still if their prices are cheaper...and not only that but many other businesses are also very likely Republicans and profit mongers as well. Nothing is made in the USA anymore...except crooked politicians and banksters. Radio Shack is also way too expensive for such things as batteries.

My wife is a retired teacher. (Solidarity!!!) Yesterday we opened an account at the Michigan Educational Credit Union. Couldn't do it today because they're closed on Saturday. Low tech!! Very down home, I like this bank already. As soon as we can tie up loose ends such as autopays, auto deposits, etc. we will be dumping Bank of America. So long BOA!!! M**her F**kers.

I'm pretty busy scrambling to survive; thus I can't hang out at the occupy protests like I'd prefer. But I can vote with my money!! We don't spend out money at Whole Foods, Target, Home Despot, any egregious company doesn't get my money if I can help it. Use the power that you have.

    Best to all

Alan Lunn: Of course, you could be right about that. Obama may have initially believed he could do what he said he wanted to do before we elected him. I guess the only person to really know that is Obama, himself. But it sure looked like, aside from a couple of publicly aired meetings with the Republicans where he reamed some right-wing orifices, he pretty much caved in to everything the crapitalists wanted. Who knows, maybe he learned something that just knocked the wind out of his sails....
    http://www.serpo.org/release27a.php
...maybe. And who knows if this information is really true. Raygun already tended to believe it even before his briefing. But then they (the Reagans) were already into some pretty mystical, whew, whew, stuff....with fortune tellers and such. Of course, it is quite possible that this is all total bull-crapitalist non-sense. But, I TEND to believe it to be true. With such knowledge it would could radically change one's reality and attitude toward life. Since I have not been briefed by anyone like a William Casey, and have to sort out a whole lot of ridiculous non-sense from what is most likely the truth, I don't really know absolutely, for sure, that any of it is really true. But, I don't dismiss it, out of hand, because I have read a lot things that, after weeding out the totally ridiculous, and after seeing things myself, and recognizing that not everyone who has seen or experienced things are totally bonkers, and recognizing an attempt at a true cover-up by our military and government...so I have to conclude that it is not all ridiculous.

Of course I realize that what a President says could be very disastrous to Wall Street anyway, as markets can panic...but if Obama came out and totally renounced Wall Street and corporate support...and actually made a real effort to show the people that he will not continue to be bought off and will work for the people this time around, we might be willing to vote for him again this time. We need to get money out of politics and a great way to show the ruling elite that a leader cannot be bought is for that leader to shun the money and restore his/her belief in the people who will vote for him/her.

As soon as we get some money, we will deposit it in our local credit union (which I have done business with before) and let the B of A account die. We have no money today, because my husband and I are both unemployed (me over 5.5 years, my husband, since July). Today (November 5) was not a good day for this action, though, since most of the small banks and CUs are closed on Saturdays.

Obama didn't pretend to be on our side. I think he tried to outsmart the system he is entrenched in and found he couldn't do it. There is no GOP candidate alive -- not even the Libertarians -- who won't betray their country. And the whole voting system is at extreme risk anyway. The desperate GOP is totally compromised and delusional. You only have a few in Congress like Bernie Sanders who really get it. And how do these brave people stay afloat in the political auction? One possible caveat with Obama: He will be a lame duck president with no strings attached. If his conscience takes over, he could morph from Lincoln into Teddy Roosevelt. That's what he should do. But the "borrower is servant to the lender (in this case, the briber)," and most politicians fail to see how they have been compromised by the private owners of government. They believe in their own "righteousness," while they betray the people they supposedly work for. They work now for these fictional "corporate people" in privatized government. Incredible swindle. I was a Republican and now I vote straight Democrat. Otherwise, my vote is totally for the corporate shills.

I moved my mortgage from Countrywide to a local bank in 2007 as the debacle began, and the local bank gave me a better deal. Countrywide was giving me the creeps. I tried to set up a twice-monthly payment to accelerate mortgage payoff and Countrywide said, "Oh, fine." It was ruse. It was actually going to cost me more.

Speaking of "the creeps": You have Gold-Sack reps in charge of the Treasury. As we all know, the monopoly banks have been gobbling up smaller banks for decades as they traded traditional banking for high-leverage, unbelievable-risk fantasy-swapping at the grand casino of derivatives trading with no regulation whatsoever ($600T derivative market -- now bigger that the entire global GDP. Our national debt is only 14T).

My point is that the government, under the aegis of Gold-Sackers like Tim Geithner, is continually shutting down small banks. The monopolies got trillions from us when they failed; but these small banks get shut down when they are millions in arrears. It that doesn't smell like financial usurpation, what does? We are moving into an era of completely privatized government. It sounds "capitalistic," but it's criminalistic. I call it crapitalism. It seems like some wicked fairy tale happening, yet it's real.
